  1. Politicians and the press are doing there best to bury the issue to make it not sound as bad as it is, but every now and then if you dig you do find that rapes have occurred, despite the best efforts to hide it. But hey, I like your take: "Fisting is not rape!!!" That can be the lefts new battle cry on the issue.... Mean while with 1.1 million non-multicultual accepting muslims running around Germany, I'm afraid the country has already fundamentally changed. Women are warned not to wear short skirts, heels and perfume, travel with friends and keep an arms length away from men. If they get attacked it's their fault. But on the bright side, they did launch a new poster campaign! http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/germany-initiates-poster-campaign-to-fight-groping-rape-and-public-pooping/ "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  2. If one has already convinced themselves all Muslims are evil, then the comment of a single muslim can easily represent all muslims. What about those of us that believe that there are Muslims that believe in personal freedom and Muslims that believe in Sharia? I've met both and that is how I characterize them. One fits into multiculturalism, one does not. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 3. Guns are not illegal in Mexico. Actually, possession is a right under their constitution. However the right to bear arms is more restricted. Either way, their government has said that they are the only ones allowed to protect the people, but they are to inept or corrupt to do it. Mean while anyone who tries to defend themselves will have an information campaign ran against them saying that they are in league with rival gangs and be marked as an enemy of the state. Sounds like a win-win for the government and the cartels with the little guys getting ran over. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  4. If I remember rightly, these guys are having all kinds of trouble. First, there is a counter narrative against them saying that they are actually being put together and funded by rival gangs. Second, the police officers in most of these towns are corrupt Third, guns are illegal in Mexico, so arming your self and taking a stand puts you between the drug cartel and corrupt police. Everyone wants them dead, just for wanting to live a basic normal life. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 5. The big thing is to know the difference between hard news and "Opinion" or "Editorial" news. I've noticed that all pretty much all networks have some straight up "just the news" programing that is pretty unbiased. Just don't think that your going to watch Sean Hannity or Chris Mathews and think your going to get straight news. They are not news anchors. And biases are not necessarily in the reporting, but biases can also be shown in what is not reported. Don't go to MSNBC's hard news programing if you want to learn the latest on Hillary's e-mail scandal. To them it's a "non-story" and there for not worth putting in there hard news segments. I think it was said earlier, but you really do have to use multiple sources to get the whole news now a days. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 6. I've been reading about this groping; can you show me one instance of an actual rape? If so, I'll give some credence your rambling. Jerry Baumchen For you Jerry, from the first link I posted in the OP: And a link from last September. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3247831/Rape-child-abuse-rife-overcrowded-asylum-centres-huge-surge-migrants-pushes-Germany-s-services-breaking-point-claim-womens-rights-groups-politicians.html People want to deny what's going on, but there shouldn't be any doubt. Despite the above back and forth with Normiss above, the purpose of this thread was to draw attention to what happened in Germany and we need to learn the lesson before we make the same mistake. If you want to bring in refugees, I don't have a huge problem with that, but there is a right way to do it and a wrong way to do it. Everything I've seen so far is the wrong way. Food for thought... 7. Apparently I'm a little more up on things that you. Obama wants to let in a bunch of Muslim refugees from Syria while we are already having issues with our Muslim refugees from Somalia. Meanwhile Merkel is having issues with her Muslim refugees from Syria and North Africa. You know the difference between a religion and a country, right? 8. I guess when Obama allows all the Syrian "Widows and Orphans" into the US, you can have more daughters raped than me. You win. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  9. I used "rape" because that's what's going on. Do you need a "trigger warning" for your feelings? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  10. Germany has a population of around 80 million, and they let in about 1.5 million refugees. I'm afraid that they have fundamentally changed their society and this might be the new norm unless they can some how get all these guys to assimilate and respect western culture. And yes, the media did there best to cover it up, but something of this magnitude was bound to get out. An extreme case of a political "CYA". "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  11. Considering how the left is trying to do the same thing to the US, I think its a very valid topic to have a discussion on. I have a daughter. And you never clarified what the meaning of your first response was. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  12. Are you arguing that there were no rapes? Obviously you need to do more reading on the subject. Or are you OK with "just sexual battery, group groping and fingering of women.?" I get it, you subscribe to the liberal version of "the war on women" where it's only assault if you deny them an abortion? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  13. Well let's take a look at Hillary's positions so far: She is a huge women's rights advocate. What has she done? Well, she has slut-shamed all of the women Bill has abused, she is advocating for allowing a rape culture into America and she is pro-choice. So women have the right to abort their child from a government sanctioned rape. I'm sure the women will come flocking to her!!! "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  14. For those of you that were paying attention, over New Year ’s Eve in Germany there were groups of Muslim refugees committing act of sexual assault on German women. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3391075/Why-Germany-t-face-truth-migrant-sex-attacks-SUE-REID-finds-nation-denial-wave-horrific-attacks-reported-Europe.html Since the initial reports have come out more women are coming forward. I’ve seen some news agencies have said that over 500 women were attacked NYE in Germany. Now similar reports are starting to come in from other European countries. http://www.wnd.com/2016/01/muslim-sex-attacks-rock-6-countries/ The liberal news medias, of course, are slow to start reporting this, but it seems the raping of people’s daughters trumps political correctness. Enough people are starting to get pissed off at this where it can no longer be ignored. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3394896/Merkel-admits-Europe-lost-control-refugee-crisis.html Come to find out, the Muslims actually have a name for gang raping women, its called taharrush. This is what happens when you don’t require assimilation. You allow a culture into your country that doesn’t respect women, you can’t be surprised when shit like this happens. There is a reason why the western cultures have progressed while others haven’t. To allow your culture to move backwards in the name of tolerance to me is disgraceful. If Muslims want to come to the west, we have to insist that they assimilate and move forward, and not except regression into a less safe society. http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/01/11/taharrush/ And of course, we can’t forget ISIS using the refugee crisis to sneak into these countries also. http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/15/europe/paris-attacks-passports/ So can someone help me out with this? Are all of these attacks being committed by the widows or the orphans? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 15. Of course you do, it's blindingly obvious that claim isn't true. Bit of a non-sequitur to bring it up though, since no-one claimed it in the first place. Yes they do. It's the end state of the argument "If you own a gun you are XXX times more likely to get shot" all the Hoplophobes always bring up. If they didn't think they were going to get shot just by looking at a gun or being in the presence of one, why do they keep using this argument and insists they will never buy a gun? 16. Yet here you are spending a lot of time and effort on a very minimal risk deriding those who feel the risk is small enough that they can just go on living. Then just go on living then and leave my guns alone. You may not see the utility in them and choose not to have them for what ever reason, But for some of us, our life is a lot more dangerous without them. Some of us even rely on them to feed our families and get along with our day to day lives. If you are after my guns, you need to see a doctor. 17. There is risk in everything we do in life, but as I said, you don't stop living. And I'm not going to assign as much risk to gun owner ship as you though because.... A: I have owed a gun and been shooting for over 40 years now and I am very familiar with gun safety and know how to mitigate those risks. B: Having a gun on me in the things I do increases my safety. C: I'm not a Hoplophobe. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  18. These guys had to fight for their lives for 13 hours. Hillary had to testify to congress for 11 hours. Sounds pretty equal, right? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 19. Hoplophobia- the morbid fear of guns... http://www.gunlaws.com/Hoplophobia-GunFear.htm One can never have a rational debate about guns with someone suffering from this condition. It's like talking to my wife about spiders. Of course, the entire liberal population suffers from it. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  20. Sorry Wendy...... But he started it calling me a tin Foil hat wearer!!!!!! Now that I've got the childish stuff out of the way.... I completely reject the idea that anyone who keeps a gun in the house is gonna get shot. A gun is an inanimate object. This idea that we should fear a tool is completely asinine.... I really hate the argument "If you keep a gun in your house you are XXX more times likely to get shot." That same argument can be made about cars, pools, skydiving, crossing the street, and everything else we do in life, but that is not an excuse to stop living. We just act as responsible adults and learn to mitigate the risks in the things we do. For me, gun ownership is about mitigating risk. I've gone to a lot of dangerous places and done a lot of dangerous things. Even growing up in Alaska at the age of 12 I had a .44 magnum on my hip. My parents were more worried about me getting eaten by a bear than shooting my self. But I've been taught gun safety by the age of 5 and it's a part of life. I see the utility in guns because they have saved my life many times. I'm not going to out source the safety of my family to someone else. It's my responsibility to keep them self until police arrive. They are alway just minutes away when seconds count, as the father in the article I posted above found out..... 21. Yes, we are such push overs, our society is identical to China or maybe even North Korea. As long as you can freely admit that your plan of action for if your wife/girlfriend/ daughter or any other member of you family was getting raped by 4 felons your plan of action is to tell them to "relax and try to enjoy it until you can call for help..." http://edition.cnn.com/2016/01/11/us/new-york-park-gang-rape/ That's what a gun free zone looks like. 22. Hi Wendy, 4 months ago there was a murder in my county. Am I a tin foil hat wearer for wanting to protect my self and my family? Am I a nut job for wanting the same tools available to me that are available to the people that are supposed to serve me? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 23. Yep, especially politicians that need to have a brigade of goons carrying fully automatic, sub-assault, belt fed, high explosive, hi-velocity, desert eagle .50 public assault death rays.... while dressed in body armor.....every where they go. Do also need a tin foil hat? Seriously, Presidential assassination attempts are so 30 years ago..... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 24. Actually, no I don't. Mostly because if we are all subjected to the same levels of protection (especially politicians) then maybe we can have a serious discussion about what constitutes "Adequate self protection." I am willing to let the politicians continue to have there armed guards though. They just can't carry anything more than what I'm allowed to carry.... Fuck you if you say I can't have a gun or only carry a 6-shooter while you are surrounded by full auto assault rifles, .50 cal sniper rifles, sub-machine guns, and any other form of belt fed happiness..... I am so thankful I live in a society where this simply isn't that big an issue. Yep, you have already given up your right to self defense and submitted to your politicians....
