A USPA liscense is equivalent and all that's needed. (FAI is international standard). I was there in early March and got in 4 jumps. Very nice people there. Very few outs, but the landing area is adequate. Call ahead to see when they have students booked, because like many DZ's these days, if there aren't students it's unlikely you will have enough fun jumpers there to fly the King Air... Have fun! I would definitely jump there again... Probably the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen on a jump! Keith "Jump to Live!"

Me and my wife Melissa just completed the AFF-I course with Kip Lohmiller. It was an awesome course. extremely challenging and intense. We did about 15 practice jumps before the evaluation jumps, which I highly recommend to anyone considering getting an AFF rating. The flying techniques taught during the pre-course jumps, if mastered, will make it possible to pass the eval jumps. We are both pretty experienced skydivers with 1000+ jumps and 12ish hours tunnel time each, and we still really learned an amazing amount about how to fly better. You will definitely have to EARN your rating in this course, but you will have a great sense of accomplishment when you do pass. Keith "Jump to Live!"

Anyone interested in re-invading the airport we used for the Thanksgiving boogie? -Keith I talked to Larry Pennington today and he said he would Bring the PAC 750 to Roanoke Rapids on New Years Day if we could get 30 jumpers together. No registration, $25 jumps, basically a day of fun jumping for all disciplines. Larry will bring a tandem master and a video guy. This will be a cash only event. If you're interested post to the list as this event will not occur if 30 people don't commit by Tues. nite. If anyone is interested in coming on NY eve and camp or motel we could have a nice fire as there are still lots of pallets left. Yaw'l come, lets have fun.
