  1. Italians will be attending. Is there a restiriction to how many athletes a representative can send?
  2. His email and telephone number: [email protected] 13611072821 They were jumping in Hubei because of reconstruction at the Beijing DZ
  3. In April I got in touch with the DZ manager. He told me that they were moving just out of beijing. I'll try and find his e-mail
  4. I'll follow your suggestions and keep calm and patient. I like the JVX but is a bit frustrating at times. I get consistent longer swoops than on a Velo but I feel I am way from doing a good turn!! Thanks
  5. And what about different turn techniques? How do you compare your 270° turing technique on the velo and on the JVX. I have just transitioned from the velo to the JVX but do not understand if I have to keep the same type of 270 or if I have to radically change it. Help would be appreciated
  6. I had problems with the tru lock toggles and actually had to cutaway ( I was a student) , I also had problems with the riser covers at that point I decided to change my rig.
  7. Hi performance canopies, high performance openings!!! I had 2 mal's last week with 2 different full RDS on. I found out that my packer was doing a mess with the connection cable. BTW I love Joe & MEL's removable
  8. Here's the new post. How do you compare the JVX All Sail to a Velo? Recovery arch, turn, ecc
  9. I have 6 jumps on my JVX all sail and I can honestly say that it is a distance machine. Can't compare with my velos because I was flying them at 2.2 and now am flying the JVX at 2.6. Sure is that my 6 distance rounds are now always easily above the 340ft. mark. Recovery arch is quicker than on a velo and it looks as if you need to put it in the corner.
  10. 11. Just check the pictures of the world record and you'll see Jeffro in Cargo pants and short sleeves smiling and gripping it. It's not the suit that makes the freeflyer!!
  12. I was wondering who will be attending the Canopy Piloting World Cup in Sydney this year in november?
  13. If you mean prices in money, we have no money on single events, just on the tour. We plan on 4 comps this year with a modest 1000€ purse. It's our first year out there but we are growing fast and sponsors are coming in to help. We plan in having money prices next year on all comps.
  14. Attached you will find the results of the second event of the Italian Swoop Tour. Many thanks tto all participants and especially to Michael Vaughan who came down to Italy for this wonderfull weekend. Congratulations Michael for yet another win and hope to see you in Sidney.
  15. In Rome, Italy, we swapped to a right hand pattern because most swoopers come in with a left hand 270; we reserved for ourselves a swoop area near the hangar and sent all of the other non swoopers further off in the field. We rule!!!
  16. The risers will trigger it and we have tested it more than once. Good observation regarding the sliding on speed rounds.!!
  17. The sensors are activated when the competitor passes through their immaginary line therefore the faster it goes through the more sensitive they have to be. Same issue regarding the size of the object you are going through with. Risers will activate the sensors because we had the system custom set to our needs speeding the interval between the impulse. An HMA 350 line set might not activate the sensors if led by Jay but I would not want to be as low as that.!!!
  18. You can have 2 connected sets if you want. You can hook up all the stuff you need as well as print and save names. Our system, the basic one, has one set of sensors but we had them custom set to a very high speed therefore no one has ever gone so fast and low to not have them signal. We have a simple printer therefore we need to line up names and scores but the system has a very sifisticated pc implementation that is expensive though. This system is used all over the world in speed skiing and has been tested in all conditions. The only real competitors are Alge and Tag Heure but their systems are even more expensive.
  19. 20. Nothing to say about the service department because they have changed 4 of mine that had been soaked even though in the protector. Just thinking that an audible for swooping should have been engineered to be waterproof.
