  1. A friend has a wings, that when he opened the reserve in the rigger's loft, for repack, the "reserve PC" with the wing's pop top (I forgot the name in english of it) jumps at 0.6 meter from the ground (with the rig in the ground), so he was asking the same thing around here......
  2. Vigil Service Bulletin http://www.vigil. aero/pdf/ VigilServiceBull etin3.pdf
  3. I wanted to put the FX and the Neos as options after I did the post...but I couldn't do it
  4. A lot of people told me the xaos21 has amazing openings and is not too much radical than the crossfire. Is it a good transition between a crossfire and a JVX, Velo or Xaos27?
  5. [in reply to ] i guess we will find out in february? Why february?
  6. look nice.... how far is from amsterdam? how much is the hr in U$? how many hp do you have? how fast can it go (mph)? how many engines does it have?
  7. I anyone using this camera??? is much smallest and lighter than a Canon Rebel. Want to know about experiences and wide angles (panasonic offers only x0.7)
  8. Which one is going to be "the one": JVX or NEOS??
  9. ***Sunrise Rigging (Wings) has a set of 29" risers*** Isn't that too much drag??
  10. I have a crossfire 139 (@1.85). I'm thinking in buy longer risers (24), I really think my risers are too short and are very uncomfortably, when I'm flying on my rears. I have a few questions about it..... I was told the front risers pressure will increase (sorry for my ignorance....but it means that I will have to pull them harder?) I have the stock jav-odd velcroless risers (don't know how long are them). Anyone knows if I have to make any modification to my canopy (brake lines or new trim)? Anyone flying a xfire with 24 risers? 24 risers could change my excellent xfire openings? where can I find velcroless 24 risers (websites please)? blue ones
  11. I'm going to star to base jump and I want to buy a new base RIG, so I want the best in the market... I want to know wich is the better container and wich is the better canopy (excellent openings is a must), for jump big walls and little buildings.
  12. How much does it earn a tunnel instructor in skyventure? per day, week or month??
  13. You should try a mid range canopy, semielliptical with a higher WL (1.2 to 1.5). Safire 2, Sabre 2 and Pilots are great canopies to learn, they open more than great and have a lot of flare power. I flew a Safire (@1.7) and I did better flares than a lot of people who buy crossfires and katanas with the same jumps that I have, at that moment. After 300 jumps on the safire (I could do a lot of more jumps on it, but it wasn´t mine) I bought a Crossfire and I really fly better than the people who didn't make a good transition. This "mid-range category" is amazing!!! Is a must, if you want to learn High Performance Landings. I really recommend you a safire, opens are perfect and long flares.

    skyball

Is a ball who invented Said, a french guy who call him self as magic mamba (and the mamba tunnel teams). This ball is a joke, is a ball without enough weight so you have to drag it with your hand....
  15. You can always go on your belly. You can belly fly like nobody's business can't you? If not you shouldn't be ball mastering. *** If I go on my belly with the skyballs we use (550 gr) (aprox.167 mph).... it will say you HASTA LA VISTA BABY...!! I don't ballmaster, but I jump a lot with skyballs with my friends (one of them is a ballmaster). We flew a 550 gr skyball without tail this weekend and I think it was much more stable, than the old one with 590 gr with a 6" tail...

  19. I saw an instructor who had a camera and a Newton in his helmet when he was doing an AFF. When the student pull-out for open his parachute, the pilot chute was entangled in the instructor's newton..... luckily, the instructor disentangled the pilot chute from his head (newton) when the parachute was opening and nothing happens.

if you want to jump with a ball and want to be safe at the same time, you will need a mamba ball (just drag it) ........... fly it with a smile
