  3. Angel's Prayer Of Life and Love and all I've known Within this mortal world, There lives an Angel forged of gold, Whose seen my dreams unfurled. She stands in silent witness to The pain within my soul, And guides my troubled thoughts with care Where peaceful waters flow. Beyond the darkened visions of a past With soft regrets, To places never known before, Where future hope reflects. A mirror of my inner self, A twin of my desires, This Angel holds a candle tight, To light the hidden fires. She weaves a golden cord around The fissures of my heart, To bind the fractured dreams I've held With love and gentle thoughts. Of every trusted friend I've known, And every love before, She's given more than anyone, And asks for nothing more. The beauty of her essence Is a garden of delights, Adding color and enchantment, To the dark and lonely nights. Her words are softened petals, That caress my deepest fears, Her soul a cup of friendship To collect my many tears. Her eyes are pools of comfort, And have shared my deepest dreams, Like stars within the heavens, Casting light upon the scenes. Her voice, a song of laughter, Giving joy to troubled hearts, In rhythm to the power, That united souls impart. Her love a peaceful blanket, To relieve the lonely chills, A warmth that knows no boundaries, The empty spaces filled. These gifts my Angel sent to me, A message strong and true, Of friendship, hope, and thankfulness, And peaceful thoughts renewed. This Angel's Prayer I give to her, Though less than she deserves, I offer her the tenderness, Held close within these words: "Thank God for you and all you've done, You're with me every day, A special kind of friend you are, To walk with me this way. And every path I tread upon, I'll keep you by my side, My beautiful reminder of, The place where faith resides. Where truth and love are joined as one, Upon a higher plane, And voices speak of love we share, With sweet and soft refrain. I pray you'll sense the happiness, You've added to my soul. The colors of the rainbow pale, Beside your golden glow. I promise I will hold you close, Through all the dreams we seek, And every breath I've yet to breathe, You'll feel upon your cheek. And should we ever reach the stars, We'll hold them in our hands, Like diamonds of remembrance, To light our earthly plans. We'll bask within their crystal glow, And walk the sands of time, Side by side and close to heart, We'll share the dreams we find. I'll treasure every moment spent, Within your celestial wings, And know I'm safe amongst your thoughts, Whatever the future brings. And every time you're lonely, I'll be there to comfort you, I pray that you will understand, That I'm your Angel too." --http://www.jrily.com/chapbook/angel.html Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. The only thing I wear different in the winter than in the summer is an extra pair of socks and some Nuemann winter gloves. I love feeling the cold. It's invigorating. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  5. Add 5 more with no more than 50% doing flat and you'll get your vSCR Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  6. Hey man... Miss having you around. Any plans for Skyfest next year? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. I'm not familiar with this opening. Nor, can I find it on most of the sites I visit. Please ping me also when you get the sequence? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  8. I've got around 10,000 1 0 games on chess.net Usually play black and when faced with the Reversed Grob follow with the Lengfellner pawns out, then bishop. Oh yeah, my handle on there is.... Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  11. About the only thing I can figure is that most C-182 DZ's have a 3 person minimum for a jump. About the only way the operation can even break even. It was a CARAVAN. Ahhh... OK, I'm with you. You took the last two empty slots to fill the A/C. My apologies. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  12. 1. I have a contractual agreement with the Tandem manufacturer not to take anyone less than 18 Y/O on a tandem jump. 2. FAR 105 states that I must comply with the Tandem Manufacturers instructions on its use and I was instructed not to take anyone less than 18. 3. The State of Oklahoma will not allow parents to waive a minor's right to sue. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  13. Bill, I would ask that rather than to give them away that you please consider another alternative. While I'm sure that many would want such a treasure, I could not accept such a gift. Please consider sharing it with generations of skydivers to come. Could I get your permission to check with the USPA to see if there's not someway, somehow these types of mementos of our forefather could be publicly cherished? If that is not a path you wish to go. Could you let me see if I could scan them and place them on the SCR website or something. If that's not a path you wish to go either, perhaps we could scan them and place them on a generic site so these historical artifacts are available for future generations. Please feel free to contact me. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  14. Superman can leap buidlings in a single bound. Maybe your friends words are krytonite weakening you with every breath. If you're gonna wear the big red "S;" then act like it. If you're going to listen to a bunch of weak earthlings who don't know how to fly, then hand over the cape. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  16. The question was regarding if there was a full day of full paying tandem students, not experienced skydivers. During this time of year, if there were full paying tandems waiting and the day was getting late jeopardizing the full-pays ability to jump - that would be the opportunity cost. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  17. 1) One thing not asked was "Opportunity Cost." Were there other paying tandems that were pushed to a later load; or weather/time jeopardized by being pushed to the next day? 2) You don't explain why this "experienced" skydiver wasn't jumping on their own? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. Thank you, Derek. THe most important question you answered for me was tandems. Cause my thoughts were until they are safe enough for tandems, how are they safe enough for the sport jumper? I need to re-think my position on this. Good to see you back posting on occasion. Your information and professionlism is held in high regard. 19. Ya know. I know the math is there, but psychologically, I still have problems with slinks vs. links. Look forward to reviewing the information on tensile strength comparisons. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  20. Jay Stokes - 534 in 24 hours http://www.uspa.org/publications/parachutist/online%20archives/01.04/stokes.01.04.htm Dale Settle did 104 out of a C-182 last year in 12 hours, having done 64 in 12 hours the year before. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/safety/detail_page.cgi?ID=201 Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  22. Well, at 6'6" and 245# and do more Cessna's than Otters. Two criteria - 1) they can't be over 200# as me, gear and them = 25#'s less than my reserve max weight, 2) They be somewhat agile and do a couple of door dives with them to see if I'm going to have any "shimmy" out the door issues upstairs that I can correct on the ground. To me the only perfect size is the one that's right for the student, instructor and rig. I've seen itty bitty females make for as great (and sometimes better due to demeanor) a TI as much as big muscular ones. 23. Oh, wait. Sorry, you said "evolution," not "revolution." Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  24. Cessna - Backflips off the step. Otter - any type. Casa or Skyvan - facing aft backflip. KingAirs - diving. If ya like unstable exits - take an odd-number of folks up on a meat missile dive - the whole dive will be unstable. 25. Hi Mar, You're more than welcome. Sorry we haven't been able to jump topgether this year. It's been an interesting year. Next Year though, definately.
