Not overtly. Simulation training has been on-going. Hands-On performance is about to begin. https://www.businessinsider.com/us-starts-advanced-ukraine-troops-training-large-scale-combat-2023-1

Scholz is sitting on a three-legged stool. 1) Germany was in an energy alliance agreement with Russia for years (yank that the people have no energy), 2) Germany had not maintained its GDP Percentage to fund its military (which Scholz just allocated 100 Billion for, and 3) sending his newly backfilled military equipment to Ukraine then drains that military funding allotment requiring another financial backfill. Then add that Germany has THE most laws after WWII about military engagement. He's trying to unravel and maneuver through military financial considerations and laws that do not appear as a declaration of war on Russia. At this time; it seems he's found a corridor to do all three and as you say; it's the start.
  4. Fact: In an average year, 3,160 people die by guns. With a rate of 7.8 deaths per 100,000 people, California has the 45th-highest rate of gun deaths in the US. SOURCE: https://everystat.org/#California
  5. You stated an opinion. I stated a fact.
  6. It's a Mac-11. I was addressing the MAC - 10 issue. And you can only make ANYTHING full auto with ATF approval, stamps, etc. etc.
  7. When you went to high school in California; were there over 3,000 people killed with guns each year in that state alone? Cause to me; that's a gun problem and a people problem.
  8. Open bolt guns are classified as machine guns even if they can only fire one round at a time. No NFA, no can own. Too easy to convert to full auto

Worried about your role as Champion?

  11. True. I meant it more as the battle cry of the right ain't the same latitude for the left. But, you knew that. I truly worry about this country anymore. I once chastised you from my patriotic heart about the "Banana Republic" comments. We seem to be using them as a benchmark for the future.
  12. Sometimes your written eloquence leads me to believe you are the bastard child of Thomas Paine and Rosie O'Donnell. “In the following pages I offer nothing more then simple facts, plain arguments, and common sense; and have no other preliminaries to settle with the reader, than that he will divest himself of prejudice and prepossession, and suffer his reason and his feeling to determine for themselves; that he will put on, or rather that he will not put off, the true character of a man, and generously enlarge his views beyond present day.” ~Paine
  13. The cry from the right when classified documents were found in Trump's house was, "The President can declassify material with the stroke of a pen." Why is the same not true here.
  14. This has been discussed numerous times on dz.com. Using the search function resulted in the following for your review: https://www.dropzone.com/search/?q=SABRE2 VS CROSSFIRE2&quick=1
  15. My favorite is using YouTube as a source citation.
  16. I'm especially careful in Columbia Valley.
  17. I get tired of their chanting the latest talking head's talking points. One of my main reasons for being on here is the balance. You and I have tussled a couple of times, but it's been mostly an intellectual/educational process. I "believe" you have been more than lenient to some of our current right-wing trolls and have booted many a left-wing troll for less. The current one's aren't even trying to provide some insight. It's just, "Let me regurgitate what Tuckerson, Hannity, et.al., said today. Fuck it. Boot 'em. They add nothing to the discussion.
  18. Deal. Perhaps we can open that 1945 bottle of Gruaud Larose to celebrate.
  19. OK OK already. I'll be the Speaker.
  20. This was an Act to add Citizenship day to Constitution Day. The law you're looking for is: 36 USC 106: Constitution Day and Citizenship Day Note: "(b) Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on the United States Constitution on September 17 of such year for the students served by the educational institution." While I may not agree with your rants; I do applaud your community service.
  21. Unfortunately, Congress critters seem to think the best interest of the country is based on who gives them the most money. That's what needs to change.
  22. I agree with Jerry. If the Manufacturer's Rigger says it won't fit, then don't do it. The Manufacturer has the final say on what goes in their rigs.
  23. Have this discussion with your rigger?
