It must be awful living in a country where the citizens have to carry a concealed weapon for fear of being attacked... I'm proud to live in a nation with strong gun control laws. To quote a line from one of my favorite bands, XTC ... "melt the guns".

What a foolish statement. Guns are designed for one purpose only. To kill. The person using the weapon may not be an expert with it, or may be under the influence a drug, alcohol, rage, etc. Tell me again how many Americans murdered other Americans with guns in the past year?

Thursday (7 Aug) at 5 eastern, on ESPN 2, my kid (Janelle Smith), along with the rest of her team representing Canada will be televised on ESPN 2 in the Little League Softball World Series as they play the team representing the Eastern USA (from Upper Darby Pennsylvania) ! I'll be at the game, so watch for the people in the stands waving the big Canada Flags, and wearing funny Canada Hats -- that'll be us parents!!!

AT age 41, I don't have a bit of fat anywhere. My physique could be described as "slender"... but thanks to pushing the weights a bit, I have more muscle than ever before.
