Man were those big transactions. I'm surprised it was worth it to for 1300 bucks. There is a site called www.paypalsucks.com I believe where they talk about a million stories like this and if you would have left it at negative balance you would have been fine. Paypal bugs you but in the end does nothing to actually hurt your credit or anything and just writes it all off. Well sorry to hear about it. Totally sucks.

Hm.... over here credit cards are much preferred because if someone even charged up 10k on your card that you didnt authorize the most you ever have to pay is 50 dollars. The credit card company takes care of the rest. Where with a bank account they could just empty it and the bank wouldnt even fight for you. Im sure you couldnt do it going into a bank and just asking to empty someones account but you could buy stuff online and get it shipped to you with someone elses bank info.

Are you positive on this - cause unless they have some weird censorship on the internet I could go to europe right now with nothin but a routing and account number and empty anyones account right now for a US account checking account. There are numerous things I have paid for onilne with a online check that requires only those 2 numbers and has no verification process at all.

Ive now had 2 different people from russia want to buy a spectre I have for sale and both wanted all my bank info for a wire. It seems legit but I'd never do it because once they have your routing and bank account number they could empty it just as easy as put money in it. So being from the netherlands, how would you pay someone in the united states? Is a wire about the only way to do it cross borders because these russians tell me something about paypal not working in their country or something.

Out of you that have broken your femurs. How long were you limping after you started walking again? Or did it never go away. Im having this problem with limping - I've been off crutches for maybe a month now. Broke it on July 31st. I can walk with a cane fine without any apparent limp but I cannot manage to walk without a limp without the cane no matter what I do. It seems my body is trying to center its weight on my right leg (the broken one) when it walks so it forces my right hip to like dip in towards my left hip. Just looks like my whole upper body leaning to the right whenever I step with my right foot. Is it just I need to get all my muscle in my injured leg back so it doesnt try to compensate for being weak? Hopefully I'm not the lone soul that had this problem and you all got yours cured and can help me out

I would also be interested in this since I will be taking Toms class this summer and live by Notre Dame. No one at the goshen dropzone knew of any when I did a lot of jumping there and the closest BASE people I found were up around Napoleon Michigan. You may have better luck going towards that area instead of South Bend.

Ha I was actually thinking about jumping that sittin in class today (after I get back from my BASE course this summer). I was wondering what it would be considered since it seems more like an A than a B. I've gone on that like 5-6 times in the last 2 years and everytime I think about jumping off the top. It would be quite a bit easier to get up on the coaster they made the year before though to replace the magnum. U just jump a fence and run up the stairs on the side and could be at the top in about 3 minutes if you were a fast runner and in good shape. Then you just jump in the water and have a friend in a boat take you away. Its on the very edge of the park so I don't think there would be a problem getting away.

Those garbage man pieces are hilarious in Standard Issue. Ski pieces looked especially cool, amazing, and like more fun than just about anything. Rope swing off the bridge also. I give it an A+.

Well the people from enron were stealing from the shareholders and committing felonies. The point with making this site a corporation is they can only sue the corporation not you. They can only go after the enron guys because they themselves stole the money first. Yeah they can sue the site and force it into bankruptcy and liquidate all its assets but they can never touch your own personal assets. The corporation is its own legal entity. Sure someone could jump and break his leg and sue (for lack of a better word) "A Site" but the point is he cant sue tom or anyone else that may have started it. Say you guys all get some kind of a loan for a million dollars - u still owe 999,999 and someone sues you. They wouldnt get shit and wouldnt even have an incentive to sue you because any personal injury lawyer that gets paid only if you win would see this and realize he wouldnt get anything. Primary debt holders always get paid first. Sounds like a great idea I think. Limited liability to all parties involved. It sucks u could lose the site but at least you couldnt get your own ass fried. Can't wait to start base jumping. Johnny Utah's class next spring is on my agenda. I should have 150 skydives by then since I am now jumping my ass off.

Well I got my A license on Saturday. Now I have 27 jumps. Only got to jump twice on saturday because of weather but now I can pack completely on my own which is good. I thought it would take me a lot longer than it did but one person showed me an easy way and Ive packed it 3 times now and havent died yet lol. Started flying with weights too. I seem to fall at about 105 without em and with 8 lbs picks it up to a little over 120.

I was trying to freefly on my 19th jump using a wonderful dolphin container lol. I was trying to sit fly and while on my back trying to get into position one of my toggles flew out. My rigger has since added secondary riser covers and moved the pilot chute bag thingy so there is zero bridle exposed. Got my heart pounding pretty hard since I really wasnt sure what I should have done. I'll probably end up sending it to altico to get the freefly updates done. I guess I'll have to see how this guys updates look like first since I don't plan on jumping this dolphin next year anyway.

Tomb Raider 2 has a wingsuit B jump. 2 of em go off and fly to a boat or something out in the harbor. By the way has anyone seen this. It seems way to far to get there on a wingsuit off a building.

So do you think putting secondary riser covers on it would actually make it less safe? I just figured it could only make it better so why not have them. Opinions Please. Thanks

Amen to that brother. Boondock Saints rules. Glad to here there are other fans on here. I kind figured there would be but was surprised as hell that no one had taken my name yet. Seems to be taken at about everywhere else but I got it in a few places. I just bought my first 25 jumps in a package deal is why I got up so fast. Sucks because I thought you actually needed 25 coach jumps and I find out after about 16 or something was approved for complete solos. Could have saved some money but I am pretty sure they will let me trade em for the like 4 experienced jumps a piece. It was like 1360. 1st jump $165 next 11 like $50 a piece next 13 $65 minus $200 for paying up front. Experienced jumps for 10000 are 15 bucks there so I hope they dont try to screw me. Its the cheapest place within a few hours of me so I didnt have much choice. They are pretty cool so I think they will be fine with me exchanging them.

No mals yet? Obviously you s/l guys are far less paranoid at 3500 than us AFFs used to pulling at 5500. You do your packing all along, or still upcoming? I pulled my pack job at 5k. I've been pulling between 3500 and 4, but last week got chided for a pull (I thought) was at 3800, because my canopy wasn't open until 3. It opened into a diving turn which might account for the result, not sure. So now I'm thinking about how much time I want before the hard deck, will probably go back to throwing at 4 again. Any instructors care to comment further about throw out time versus "deploy altitude?" Well actually I did have a mal on my 19th jump. It was my 3rd complete solo where I could do whatever I wanted. I was flying on my back and one of my toggles came out in freefall and was flapping all around. I had no idea what to do and I was at 7k so I grabbed it and continued my freefall till about 5 and then flipped over and chucked into the air and pulled. Opened into what I consider a wild spin but i just pulled both toggles down and it fixed it. What a rush. Got my heart pounding pretty hard. I let this idiot that had like 20 pack jobs under his belt pack it because I watched him pack other stuff and no one had died yet. Probably a dumb thing but I wanted to get back up in the air. My first pack job was my 20th jump and I was sure I was gonna die. lol god man jumping your first pack job is insane. On that one I pulled at 4 but my 2nd one and the one after that was packed by a jump coach I initiated the pull at around 3500. The dytter I was borrowing is set at 3000 and it always goes off while my canopy is opening. Holy shit are those things louds. Hurts my ears.

Well I usually push it as far as I can without getting in trouble since I am a student. On my 1st 10 second delay they took me up to like 6500 or something and said pull at 4 well I was so caught up in the freefall smiling my ass off I didnt end up pulling till probably 3400 maybe. I watched my dvd and it was 24 seconds of freefall so whatever that comes out to be. I think since I am in category G now I can actually pull at 3 but I would always try to pull lower than 4 anyway. Its probably stupid but my rig seems to open so damn fast it has never worried me. At my dropzone when I was on student gear I would wait all damn day for 2 jumps and didnt want to get screwed out of some freefall
