  1. Well maybe DZ.com will fall in line with godfather of bodyflight websites. Dawn I think that you do an awesome job with the site and I pretty much have the idea that you are a one woman show unlike other sites. Your site is an amazing tool that has followed the sport of bodyflight. I send foreign people to your site that show up at my tunnel all of the time so that they can find tunnels in other parts of the world. So,.. thanks for all your hard work and thanks for having the insight to help the sport of bodyflight evolve by providing an awesome informational site. Blue Skies!
  2. Seeing is believing and I know what it takes~ The article has the upcoming sites listed and it doesn't take much to figure out that they were fed the information by skyventure corp. Wall Street called and asked me what makes SVNH different than the other tunnels. She failed to post any of my answers and only posted that we do kids camps and our ticket rate. So... that is the press for you. It is always nice to have free PR but I don't think that the article was that great.
  3. I do believe that the tunnel will happen at some point in Canada. If the project is already in progress and the money has been paid for the parts it still will not be open before April of 2009. All of the parts are coming from the US except for the local available goods. ( like building goods, cement and so on.) I wish them the best of luck it is not an easy project. As far as Andy's statement most of the problem with those posts of tunnel projects come from either the person buying into a territory and never being able to come up with the remaining money. The other side of it is that SkyVenture corporate always seems to post unrealistic dates on their site for projects that still have not even raised the money. That way they appear bigger than what they are. With that being said the general public now tends not to believe what is posted. I am with Andy on the seeing is believing.
  4. A SVNH employee won a half hour of tunnel time in a fundraiser to help longtime rigger and skydiver David Hersey who has ALS. Upon winning he said that he would like to donate it back to be auctioned on Ebay now to again help raise more money for David. I have to say that I am proud to have such great staff that care about our fellow skydivers in need.
  5. Hello, Yes we are doing the membership again this year.
  6. The winters are not that cold and the tube of pleasure is always warm! We will leave the light on for you so come on up!
  7. Thanks so much, but it would not have been a great year without customers like you. We would like to thank everyone out there and we look forward to seeing you at our big tube of pleasure in the coming months. We are getting ready to have our drawing for our 1 year anniversary raffle at the end of Sept. So come one and all and put your names in for a chance to win tunnel time and more. Best part,... the raffle is FREE!
  8. I am sure that it is in the same listing as NY. That one is due to open soon! See listing below off of the skyventure site. The truth of it is that SkyVenture never updates the site nor do they post REAL dates. Unless you drive by and see the construction... don't believe that it is there. Blue Ones! Reserved Territories SkyVenture Manhattan Region: North America The development rights to lower Manhattan have been purchased by a small group of private investors. This 12 foot, recirculaing, 1000 HP wind tunnel will be installed on a stationary barge and attached to a pier that includes various other entertainment attractions. Opening Fall 2007.
  9. Don't know if this will help but I have over 1000 video jumps out of my 182. I used to climb out and hang with my right hand on the strut and my right foot on the peg in the center of the tire. I would trail my left foot and wait for the instructor to give me the ready, set, go. The instructor keying the exit is really important. Watch out for the instructor getting stuck in the door. Sometimes depending how the instructor exits the student may push up and pin the instructor in the door for a few seconds just when you think they are going. I have a friend that used to do the bat hand. It is not that easy and takes a bit of time. Not to mention pilots don't usually like it. If you are shooting for hire... not an exit that I would suggest. Good luck with video,.. never get above or below the tandem. I am sure that most any tandem master will advise you of that. Blue Skies!
  10. Here is a few of the RW coaches around that you can hire. Our local team ,.. Mass Defiance and from Canada you could use Evolution ( the Lemay family ) or Rocky Nash. You could contact Denis Rook also,.. he might be available. We also have free coaching by Mass defiance on Thursdays for anyone who wants to book time. If you have any questions feel free to contact SVNH Blue Skies!
  11. Here is a new picture of our new signage on the building. The neon looks awesome. Blue Skies!
  12. Johanna (aka IBflying) Since you didn't even talk to me when you came to the tunnel with your HUSBAND Matt Trudeau I think that your post is very amusing. Good luck to you both. Have a Happy New Year!
  13. Hmmm,.. that is really funny due to that never took place. Would you like to recall the day that you showed up 7 minutes before your flight time and we bent over backwards to get you in the tunnel instead of giving your time away to others. I am not going to continue to post on this subject again. I know that our customer service is very good. We do cater to skydivers and over 50 percent of our business is skydivers that love it here. So no matter what lies you try to make people believe it all comes down to the simple fact that everyone is happy here but you. I think that you are just mad that you have been told that you are no longer allowed to come to SVNH. So,.. Florida should be the place that you like due to at this moment they still allow you to go there. All of us at SVNH wish you the very best in the coming year.
  14. Happy New Year to All from all of us at SkyVenture New Hampshire. It was an awesome new year for us with our staff as we flew into the new year!

  21. Hello All,... Just a quick post. I would like to thank everyone again for all of the support. Rob and I are working hard to get our tunnel open. We will be open in August. The early August date slipped by due to construction issues. We are now down to painting the downstairs, tiling, carpet and such. As for the tunnel itself,... It is smooth and fast. We also have done some special features with lighting. The tunnel is no longer a dark hole that you fly up into. We have lit the top and bottom of the tunnel. We look forward to seeing you all at our tunnel! I will keep posting as it goes! Blue Skies! Laurie
  22. Well our staff is almost done training and time is going by quickly. We will be opening around the third week of August. It should be just in time for the Pepperell boogie. Mike Swanson has booked a camp with us on August 30. 31 & Sept 1. We are really proud to announce that Nick, Brendan & Selwyn formerly from Airkix in the UK are coming to work for us. We are pleased to have them as part of our staff. The tunnel is looking sharp and we would like to thank all of our friends that have come by to lend a helping hand. Blue Ones! Laurie
  23. Currently we have,... Michael Biederman, Rusty Lewis, Kris Reynolds & Ray Kubiak. Then Rusty will leave next week and Carlos will take his place.
  24. Just a quick update,... Rob and I have been very busy with our tunnel and have not had much time to post. We are coming along and the sheetrock work will be complete today. It looks awesome! We will start painting next week. Our staff has been training for over a week now and are doing awesome.
