your gear is just a way of getting off the ride...if its maintained properly and made properly then any BASE specific set up is suitable...i have jumped almost all the gear thats around in some configuration or other..some i like some i dont but put me in a room with ten other jumpers and our oppinions will differ..the easiest way is stick with what you know..if you cant do that buy a gargoyle with a troll...coz they rock...IMHO

i log mine on my phone then sync it with my PC when i get home...i just do it because im getting old now and my memory is starting to go...or maybe thats the stella artois..i log whos with me so as people come and go i can put the faces with the jumps..

theres been one guy here in the UK doing "parajumping" for two or three years now...just a double three ring system...he calls uut his portable BASE object but thats another story

have you done the necessary mods to the bridle line attachment point and center cel top skinl?we had one split here in the UK a few years ago...please get these mods done before you do anything with a big PC...it will involve load tape across the entire top skin encompassing the bridle line attachment point...any good rigger will know what you need. http://www.extreme-on-demand.com

im looking for an adapter to fit in the same place as the above mentioned battery on my cameras that will allow me to connect an external poer source to the cameras..like PAG master 90 12 volt units..any ideas? i guess its like the AC adapters that you get on some unitscant find one to go into the NP-FM50 slot though.

Tom as usual is on the money...dont forget in high winds you will subconciously turn into it as well...which could exacerbate your problem...best bet isif it makes you wonder...either get gus to go first...get him to daisy chain you or go to the pub...

knowing the jumps faber does and the pilot chutes he uses my old TU has a better glide ration than anything he may be jumping...hehehehe

we had a good day...first event of its kind on this beautiful little island..25 jumpers did themselves and the sport proud...cracking out over 150 jumps...no injuries..incidents or use of the axe in the whole event.. thanks to Go Fast, NMT CRANES,Dave,Andy,Max and the Oxford Stunt factory for pulling out all the stops....a truly amazing day.
