  1. There was an unofficial 12-way a number of years ago over Tecumseh, but that is it as far as I know.
  2. Try Start Skydiving in Middletown, OH. They are about a 3 1/2 drive from Ann Arbor.
  3. I know! I'm totally bummed, I had my PJ's picked out and everything! We are hoping to at least make it back for the Saturday night party since the wedding is local. But we are both in the wedding so we will see how that works out. I'm just surprised ya'll even talk to people who'd get married on a summer weekend anymore. Hope you two are doing great.

  5. It's chic's weekend at Skydive Tecumseh so you picked a good weekend to be in the area. I won't be around, have a wedding to go to, but I'm sure there will be plenty of people around to play with.
  6. I flew them a couple of years ago. They were cheap and the flights were either on-time or EARLY. crazy.
  7. I usually use the 'one for you, one for me' philosophy
  8. Good luck ladies! I wish I could be there to be part of the record, but too many people at the dz already have the weekend off.
  9. awww, don't let people like that give people like me a bad name
  10. YAY! Can't wait!! Some other cool Skydive Tecumseh stuff: ~camping on the dz ~showers on-site ~local hotel if you don't feel like tenting it ~nightly bonfires ~DAILY'S in 'B' building -- check out the cool jumps from the day ~in-door packing ~maybe if we ask nicely we can get someone to do some BBQing on Saturday night? ~and not to toot our own horn or anything, but we are a pretty fun crowd
  11. zillow is pretty good, but any home property value checker is not very accurate in this market. -- (especially in the Michigan market where I am!) If you are looking for a rough estimate, it should be alright, but don't expect it to be spot on. It could be from $10,000-$50,000 off.
  12. Very cool, I will have to look into them! Thanks for the info. Thank you everyone for the feedback
  13. I would like to insure my skydiving gear and camera equipment in case it gets stolen, etc. I spoke to my State Farm insurance agent and she said because I use it for business purposes -- even if it is only like 5% of the time, my homeowners won't cover it. And a general insurance policy won't cover it either since it has to do with skydiving ... I know people out there insure their gear ... so how do you do it?
  14. I'm just wondering the best way to archive photos so they don't take up room on your hard drive. What I usually do is upload them to ofoto.com and then burn them onto CD. Is this a good way to make sure my photos stay safe? I would hate to lose any of them ...
  15. I've owned a Mirage G4 for about 3 years and it has about 800 jumps on it. I think it still looks great and the construction of it has held up awesome, no issues. My rig is mostly black with some lime green and purple on it and the lime green has started to fade a little. -- I would put that under normal wear and tear though -- I have no problem with a wrinkly reserve pack, or I should say my rigger doesn't have any problem with it. I own a MXS and absolutely love having the short option, my rig is still as comfortable as the day I bought it.
