  1. Ha ha, try Fabian Raidel and Adam Mattacola (Killa) Bet they'd love to read that post! ;)
  2. DSE, thanks for that post. Kind of makes me believe that the lens is a copy and at $99 is a better price than $300. Might take the chance and order one then!
  3. Anyone have anymore comments on the Opteka Baby Death lens? There was a thread about it, but no final conclusion to it. Has anyone had the chance to form an opinion on it? DSE, did you check it out at the convention you were at in Las Vegas?
  4. Any more input with regards to the Opteka Baby Death quality and the century baby death? Is it just a re-brand with a smaller price tab or is it a poorer version? Gustavo, didn't see you last weekend when I visited, but I saw Kuri's century 0.3x on his camera and it looks a nice set up. You think it's too heavy for the CX105 as implied by an earlier post?
  5. Selywn. He's super friendly, great flyer and really good at coaching.
  6. Perfect, thanks for the info guys
  7. Ok cool. That sounds like an Otter does in fact exist there and is used! One more question, is it based there all the time, i.e. I'm interested if it will be there May and June. Thanks for the info
  8. I've check the web-page and info on DZ.com, but can someone actually confirm if Raeford has a super twin otter and it is currently being used at Raeford. Last time I visited there was just a Pac XL being used.
  9. Vadimus Is there any news on the 16ft Tunnel? Is it under construction? Any dates for completion and use?
  10. Mark Thanks for that, that was exactly what I was after! James
  11. Could someone please explain the difference between the 3-D spacer foam, deluxe backpack and the padded stabilizer options on the Micron? I’ve checked the options guide on the RWS web page and understand the 3-D spacer foam, but what do the other 2 options offer? Can't see any info on them. A brief explanation from someone would be fantastic!
  12. Does anyone know where the scores or news on the 4-way June comp held at Lake Elsinore can be found? Thx!
  13. Nice, thanks. Just saw a tunnel camp ad with the emails on to! Sod's law hey?!?!! Thanks again.
  14. Ari, you have any idea on contacting the coaches. I emailed the address on the paraclete web-page but haven't heard back from anyone. Do any of them post on here? PM'ed Mick, does Punisher hang out on these forums? Any contact details for him? Think I have an email for Will, but if you have any contact details please PM me so I can contact them, that would be great. Thanks!
  15. PM'ed about some other dates
  16. Thanks for all the replies, I'm sure there will be some people around!
  17. Cool, thanks. As a local, is it busier in the summer or the winter as a DZ? I am particularly interested in midweek activity as if a group of were to visit, we'd want to be jumping all day. Any other people with experiences in July / August, please feel free to post!
  18. What is the DZ like nowadays in the summer months? Experiences and opinons would be much appreciated as am interested in how many loads go mid-week and at the weekend in July / August Any other info would be appreciated too. Thanks
  19. Anyone know who is at Paraclete XP working for the tunnel or indepently who offers freefly coaching? I emailed the tunnel a while back but didn't hear anything. I believe there are some employees on the forums, so feel free to post or PM me information, names and coaching fees if you know them. Thanks

    fun stuff

Nice one, I'll check that out too. I'd seen a little of 2007's stuff from Roberta and from Fabian this summer. I particulatrly like the rounds which break in the middle and then each half carves around before reforming the round. Get in! The youtubes posts above are fantastic too, fair play to all the flyers, wicked jumps.

    fun stuff

Lodi has been kicking the ass out of sequential freeflying for a while now. Fair play, the footage that has filtered down to other parts of the world has been fantastic. Any footage on you tube?
  22. Betsy Thanks for the info, I'll look out for updates! How many days do you think it will run for / take to get done? 3 days as per the US Nationals time scale? Yep, checked the vrw webpage too but it doesn't really mention too much on 2008 events. (I don't think anything is mentioned for 2008) If anyone else has info on any of the events mentioned above or other euro events please post the info!
  23. What events are happening for VRW in 2008 that you know of? Has an official date and location for the US Nationals been released yet? I heard something about a World Cup running at the same time as the World Meet in France so that VRW will be up and running for the 2009 World Meet. (2 world cups needed for World Meet criteria), anyone know about this? Is the European event happening again? Any dates and place? Malevsky Cup in Russia, any VRW proposed there?
  24. You noticed that I stole your rig? Damn. Great competition, atmosphere throughout the whole event was fantastic, even with the Skywalkers. Great jumps after the competition and the parties were acceptable too! Yo, Mathyaz, you lost a pair of trousers? What you do that for? Despite the abscence of recent top teams from the USA and France, the standard of the top 4 teams was high. There were some awesome free routines shown which was cool to see. And of course, great achievement for Outbreak, first UK medallists in freefly.Get in Outbreak!
  25. Yep, not the best DZ mate. Told you that you might have issues there. You know what to do and the places to visit. So sort your reserve repack and head there. But fair one for going to the DZ and making your own opinion! Wing loading issues I can understand to some extent, but the attitude towards a new customer that you received was poor. "I'm too busy to help you now!!" Nice one hey
