    Why call him Betrayus?

    Matt

Ask his wife. Ask Paula's husband. Ask the people who had to arrange, at taxpayers expense, to provide fresh pineapple to the General every single day, no matter where he was. He is a jerk hypocrite. Do you really think he got caught the first time he committed a breach of trust and an act that routinely gets those of lesser rank court martialed? Fk him. Glad to see his pompous self righteous ass fall hard. And don't think he is a straight up guy who in a moment of introspection felt guilty and openly confessed. The FBI had him in a squeeze.

You talk of actions that went on recently, yet use Times unprofessional attack word from several years ago.

He is confident, since he has been right, in his recommendations for handling two fronts on a war.

Having served in the field with him, and deployed with him, the pineapple thing is laughable. It is the same as hollywood elites getting blamed for some things. He expresses an affinity for pineapple, a staffer ASSUMES he wants it 24/7 and then uses the phrase: "GEN P demands it!".

I hope you had the same attitude towards Presidents Kennedy, Clinton and the former Speaker of the House, Newt.

Now back to the Drama of "Cooper"!

Ya know, sounds like he messed up, and is taking the road out of outing himself, rather than denying everything and holding on with his fingernails.

Everyone can mess up. Leading by example is admitting it when you do, and taking the consequences, rather than being forced to take them.

I don't think it's admirable to cheat on your wife. But at least he didn't claim to be hiking in appalachia or anything else stupid.

Very shortly, the resignation will be seen by the right as part of the Obama-Benghazi conspiracy.

Very shortly? that angle beat the NBC resignation story to my FB news feed!:o

Having served with him and did so closely at times, I find it hard to believe, but don't think impossible. I am sure it is possible the other person was one who spent a great deal of time with him. He was on the road more days than not.

"Anyone know what happened to Jerry Thomas? He used to [be] such a regular here."

Yah, I convinced him that he had a good day job and should not harass Jo any more. I offered to expose his identity. It is best he is not here. Great guy, really. The JT persona just does not fit him.

Bob dear.. your villiage is looking for you....

Not too hard, apparently he has upset them too.

Maybe I had talk with a "Young - lawyer - esquire the third" from BK's neck of the woods. Maybe He did a full 180 after our 45 minute phone call and an e-mail exchange, including, maybe, screen shots from this thread.

Maybe he now He thinks his "preemptive" discussion, was misguided. Maybe, He is now not sure he can even mount a defensive discussion. Maybe.

The estimated total of hidden offshore wealth amounts to more than the combined GDP of the United States and Japan, hidden in secretive financial jurisdictions like Switzerland and the Cayman Islands. The process of hiding this wealth is largely facilitated by the major global banks, which compete with one another to attract the assets of the world’s super-rich. James Henry explained that the wealth of the world’s super-rich is “protected by a highly paid, industrious bevy of professional enablers in the private banking, legal, accounting and investment industries taking advantage of the increasingly borderless, frictionless global economy;” more of that “free market” magic. The top ten banks in the world, which include UBS and Credit Suisse (based in Switzerland) as well as Goldman Sachs in the United States, collectively managed roughly $6.4 trillion in offshore accounts for 2010 alone. As the report revealed, “for many developing countries the cumulative value of the capital that has flowed out of their economies since the 1970s would be more than enough to pay off their debts to the rest of the world,” debts which are largely illegitimate as it stands. This trend is exacerbated in the oil-rich states of the world such as Nigeria, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. The report stated: “The problem here is that the assets of these countries are held by a small number of wealthy individuals while the debts are shouldered by the ordinary people of these countries through their governments.” With roughly half of the world’s offshore wealth belonging to the top 92,000 richest individuals, they represent the top 0.001%, a far more extreme global disparity than that which is invoked by the Occupy movement’s 1% paradigm.

Calm down. Now that Occupy has got Obama back in power we can get to the red meat of the deal. He'd better deliver this time around.

You keep misspelling David Axelrod's name. He never factored Occupy in, they had no impact. He saw them as a none factor, either way. He made the POTUS' re-election plan, and executed it nicely.

    >That isn't a tactic of both sides?

Definitely is. Since Romney has been running a bit behind for most of the campaign, this time it's the GOP that is pulling that tactic.

Well, I think it is being used, by all parties, in all elections, at all levels.

    >Math and the knowledge of how the electoral college works.

That's not the point of the sort of articles that Rush posted. The objective there is to try to spur GOP voter turnout by making it look like Romney has a chance. The GOP has been doing this for months now - claiming that most polls are "skewed," using only conservative poll numbers, altering poll numbers in their favor and reposting them etc.

That isn't a tactic of both sides?

So when you said that ending the war in Iraq and increasing oil producton didn't count, what you meant to say was that those things are bad?

I think he wants the SOFA, then, President Bush signed for the Iraq withdraw to be, Bush's, and end it at that.

President Obama could have moved the withdraw dates left or right, but went with the proposed timeline. But there would be no political "win win" if he did.

Pulling a voting booth lever doesn't cause of the death of another person.
    Pulling a gun trigger does.

I'll bet you $200 (payable to your favorite charity) that we will never again see an OWS event as large as the Sep 2011 Zucotti park event.

    >Next Walmart strike - they'll be there.

Agreed. And the food truck vendors will probably outnumber them.

This is to anyone who still contends that BHO called the attack in Benghazi a terror attack in his speech and the WH

    http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2012/11/05/what-president-obama-really-said-60-minutes-interview-about-benghazi/

BTW, this is based on BHO's interviwe on CBS after the attack and after his speech

It seems that Fox News and the BlazeTV are the only media pursuing this issue with real interest.

America is so divided. We are in trouble. This morning on Newstalk970 they were interviewing a day trading expert, discussing the post election financial market. The host, Jack Harris, remarked that if BHO wins gun stocks would be a good investment. His co-host, Cory Dylan, followed up with, "and bullets." The guy being interviewed responded, that might not be a bad idea.

  12. It is nice to see we have a few trying to use real Evidence, Science, Fact, and Reality, in the investigation.

It is nice to see actual experts in a field or two getting a chance to speak and eliminate the flotsam and jetsam that had clouded the thread up so badly.

Take down your political opinions - leave them be until AFTER the election - remember Quade's Warning!

TO ALL: when you quote his statements - that is the same as your posting them. I think perhaps you guys need to take them down while you can! Blevins will NOT be the only one to get banned.

I think you will find Quade more concerned when the "usuals" slip out of the asylum and post in other threads. At least here, there is containment.

Besides, Robert was right, the all caps lock screaming post wasn't his.

    He just called it out.

I'm worried only a little about accidents. I'm worried a lot about intentional gun attacks. All those blacks didn't die from accidental shootings. They died because men with evil-hearts wanted to kill them. Those men shouldn't have easy, cheap guns.

$25 doesn't affect the people doing the killing. As a capital investment in your chosen trade of "street thug" $25 is not much compared to the contents of a single wallet.

It does affect crime victims. $25 more to protect yourself is significant compared to the other expenses which go with feeding, clothing, and educating your family and poverty level wages.

Not too mention that Criminals and Gangs tend NOT to go to the local gun shop and BUY guns that they would pay a tax on. Law abiding citizens on the other hand, do, and they will foot the bill for this unfounded fear.

    Um,
    hello again :)
Forgive me for not reading through all the posts I've missed - someone may well have posted on this. I've just seen a Discovery episode where they crash a 727 (for a crash test) and have the people jumping out the aft stairs. Experienced skydivers obviously, but the one they showed the full exit of had a pretty stable exit - a bit of blast but righted himself very quickly, no tumbling.

Jeez it looked like fun ....B|

    News: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/11/02/us-usa-guns-chicago-tax-idUSBRE8A11DH20121102

Quiote: "The county that includes Chicago on Friday approved a tax on firearms to help pay the healthcare costs from gun violence, the first major U.S. metropolitan area to impose such a tax as a form of gun control. Under the plan, Cook County, Illinois, will impose a $25 tax on each firearm sold."

Now let's watch this good idea spread to other areas of the country!

all that happened here is more Cook County businesses will be going under
