  3. Hey, say Hi to Dave! But........... My vote is for JE Vannatta. Known him for 8 years and heis heart and soul are with students. Never seen a man care as much and know when to be a hard ass and when to hug you. Blue Sky Forever man! G.
  4. Used to be they were required to be flat packed. G.
  5. mjosparky, You are so right on. Please help me here though. Pilots rigs are single harness, single canopy. We pack them as riggers and sign off the packing card. Are they considered reserves, emergency parachutes, or do they fall under a diffrent TSO? G.
  6. Had a guy who just a bout killed himself last year teach a canopy controll corse. Looked like he did not lern any thing. G.
  7. Saw a tandem instructor student and experienced skydiver get dragged after jumping in 30 plus winds today. Other tandem instructor studend did the same. First one cutaway after getting dragged probably 25 yards, the other was caught by three guys or he would have gone farther. Why are there not wind limits on tamdems? And how much wind should you jump the so called students in? The Relativeworkshop examiner was there watching and just said nothing. Later they jumped the so called students and just cutaway when they landed. I am not jumping in winds like that. Should there be limits? G.
  8. Hey, I'm going to PM you a guys name and e-mail. He's a Safety & Training Advisor who I konw. He told me being a Christian is not a religion. He said there is a difference between religion and a relationship with Jesus Christ. Sorry, I'm new at this but I will tell you. My life changed for the better. G.
  9. My old teacher said "once for you, once for me, then pull the silver handle". Sounds like good advise. G.
  10. Wow, got a email from a guy who said at his dropzone they had a guy teach canopy control that had just about killed himslef by hook turn. Guy said it was so far out it was funny. G.
  11. From the looks of all the white stuff laying around you must have enjoyed unpacking the box G.
  12. Daizey You gott em. what part of the country are you in. G.
  13. skybytch thanks for the adivse. there are several dropzones around within a few hour drive. I am new to the area and have only ben jumping for four years and just started tandems. I dont think Iam ready for a time off. G.
  14. Talking bad about them behind there backs. Telling some students they should not listen to there method of doing things. just seems like pure bull and they were friends in hte past. I thought the poll on attitude pointed right at these guys Im going to do a few tandems at another dropzone and see if things settle down. sure hope they do. G.
  15. Good katch I missed the right button. I was thinking about power ranger! Hey there diverdriver that was not my only mistake. i gave myself a AID's Instructor rating instead of my "slack line". Me and computers. G.
