Change my mind about what..... Physics . Everyone i know that has tried it loves it...and i will be spending a good chunk of my time in the future to get good at it! But your posts are hurting the cause rather than helping?...... Im sure that most of the people you are calling uneducated are a lot more educated in this field then you........ Just because i have jumped ALTMO does not mean i am going to change my opinion of the laws of Physics. I hope that this sort of attitude (lack of info ) isnt commonplace in ALTMO otherwise you will find yourself creating a separation between jumpers rather than helping people enjoy a different form of flight. Hello all, I have a suggestion about the classified page..... It has come to my attention that the majority of people getting screwed over are people new to the sport and site. If these people knew about the basic safeguards of selling over the net the amount of people scammed on this sight would drop! I realize you have all this essential info and more..... But here is the thing...... If i was a newbe looking for gear (like i have been ) i rip to classifieds and straight to Complete systems caring only about the beautiful new rig im about to purchase The Info on SCAMS is a small section on the classifieds main page( which i and many many other people did not see until we were told about it.)...... If this was made into a sticky at the top of the different classifieds eg.. BEWARE OF SCAMS READ THIS FIRST .... Or a link whatever is easiest!!!! The only way you are going to stop people from getting scammed is to inform them of the risks and yes once again you have this info on the sight it just needs to be a bit more in your face..... like a sticky on a forum telling you what will happen if you post here... Hopefully some people may GAIN a bit of common sense after they have read all the info . And this is the major reason i am trying to get something done.... CHAIN OF EVENTS - Someone new to the sport and wanting to join this great family in the sky and exited about getting there first rig ( of course ) skip past the main page and straight to Complete systems , containers ect Makes some silly decisions .....W union ... Ill send you a check for more that the rig, ect They tell everyone they got ripped off And everyone tells them its common sense... they are stupid...idiots Great experience for someone starting in the sport. All the info in the world is no good if no-one reads it!!!!! Can you PLEASE PLEASE . These are the majority of scams going on and these can be avoided by knowing what to look for! I Couldnt agree more... .But unless the person who may get ripped of actually READS how not to get scamed... all this info its just a waste of time!!!!! Sorry to harp on but im just trying to get someone to realize that the problem is THE NEW PEOPLE ARE NOT INFORMED....Sure the infos there but unless they click on that one link( which is not in the best place ) or do a search in forums (yea right) and READ it. I just want to say i really appreciate all the work you guys do on DZ.com and full respect for all the free time you guys put in... And all that you said about the gear is pretty spot on but once again for my idea youve just pawed me off saying its a bit hard and theres only a few people who can do it..... To be fair its a tiny bit of text and if your a newbe, your going straight at the gear lists. When i first went on the classifieds i didnt just see it there..... And im sorry but i seriously think doing a sticky or a bigger link at the top of the gear lists would stop a lot of people getting screwed. Same sort of story with me... I had about 60 jumps and was doing a two way with another novice. I turned and tracked and he ended up tracking after e and dumping at the same time i did!!!! Both opened and as luck would have it ended up about 10 meters away from each other, Both got freaked and flew straight into each other at 3000feet. LUCKILY we where both at the same height so when we hit it was chest on chest, Both canopies collapsed but then re inflated. Close fuckin call..... and i was scared shitless of another canopy being within 50 feet in the air for the next 100 jumps. .....And you thought Kiwis couldn't fly!!!!

There is a lot of info on dropzone about scams. But i do agree with you that it should be in your face rather than you having to search for it. How hard would it be to put a READ THIS FIRST above the Classified threads?? When you go to Classifieds i cant see any scam info unless i scroll down and if im a newbe and just click on complete systems There is no further mention of scams at all. Maybe its time to make it a little more in your face If your buying you should know. The 2 rules of ALL internet buying If its to good to be true it usually is Dont send money via western union I nearly got scammed on a lens on ebay . Changed payment to Western union and refused to give me any contact details..Dont think so buddy...now funnily enough cant get a hold of him. .....And you thought Kiwis couldn't fly!!!!

Ive passed out under canopy before from pain in my tooth and jaw after opening. And suffer from nasal congestion. Anything with Pseudoephidrene is pretty hard to get a hold on in australia The ice heads have meant restrictions here too. but just talk to your gp or doctor and you should be a able to get a prescription. If you are getting counter decongestants make sure there non drowsy!

Wost ive had was about 25 bites on each foot when i was off my head with no shoes on.....I would wake up in the night realising i had scratched my feet raw The only thing that helped was rapping both my feet in a t towel soaked in cold water,,,, Worst bites ive seen though where in a hostel,,,And it was bed bugs This poor guy had over 500 bites .... Shit looked NASTY!! .....And you thought Kiwis couldn't fly!!!!

But Why would you choose your accident over say your first jump?... And why just have the date surely a big full back design of you going in would make for a far better story?
