I enjoy my Batwing 134 super fast high performance canopy awsome to fly and lots of lift at the end easy to bring straight in easier than a saber but touchier on the turns toggles like a stilleto recommend dont know why the bad rep also always had great soft openings had the new slider pocket mod though 300-500 ft snivle would say though get a stilleto 135 just a better safer canopy but the batwing will out swoop it if flown right i believe.

I have a batwing 134 1:1.48 and its a nice canopy to me I was wonder why this canopy seem to get a bad name is there any design flaw's anything i should watch out for thanks in advance for the input -
yeh I dont plan on hooking it in any time soon just straight approch into wind i can practice up in the sky but you hit the nail on the head the batwing would be the first eliptical i jumped better hook up the esprit 120 or 135 for a while huh?? i do 90's w/ depends on canopy 2-10 inches on the front risers not enough to slow it down seem to have that down ok baby steps back in teh summer time :) get my jump legs back :) let off canopy naturally starts to level out (i hear the batwing does that to pretty good and has a good flare and is a good canopy after it opens lol Jason

Yeh I had my local Master Rigger Look at it this weekend and it's fine I could have the flap replaced for about 100 bucks but he said no need to just scotch guard and jump it :) he did say if it would have been all of the flaps and the circle reserve pop thing that he would have poped the reserve and had to inspect just posting this to maybe help someone in the future thanks for all the great input guy's take care blue skies Jason Jason -
a permanent black marker on one javelin flap Help !!!
jasonatokc replied to jasonatokc's topic in Gear and Rigging
lol. Thanks everyone! Here is a question. I got a good deal on the container and want to jump and keep it, and be able to get the rigger to do a reserve repack on it (although a master rigger did a repack on the reserve right before I boutght it as it was included in the deal, dont know if it was done before or after the marker incident) but to the point it was light faded pink before the black marker and it actually looks good but I would think maybe in the heat it would rub off :( If you were me would you try and remove it w/suggestions in this forum or leave it alone? any other suggestions on getting rid of it ? Also what if I try and remove it and it doesnt come off all the way then it really looks like crap but would the rigger still not mes with it ??? What would you do? Thanks for your valuable time and input Take Care and Blue Skies Jason Jason -
