Hi Im thinking about updating to a new canopy. My current canopy is a Vision 132 and its really a dog to fly. Now i´ve been looking at the Samurai and the Katana. A 120 or a 107/105. I would like to know how much of a difference the airlocks makes for the canopy. Does it give it a flatter glide and if it makes it easier to get back from a long spot. The canopies with airlocks have a larger pack volume. Does that mean that I can use a smaller size Samurai compared to a Katana without the airlocks? I´ve been searching this website, and have read all the post comparing Sam and Ka. But I cant really find an answer to my questions. Im not interested in hooking and wont be for another 200 jumps or so. I just want to fly a fun canopy and get fast and turf surfing landings. Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

This is my second canopy, my first was a Sabre2 and now i´ve got this Vision 132. So this is my first eliptical canopy and ive been jumping it for about 150 jumps. The thing that i dont like with it is the openings. Ok they are really really soft, would even call them slow. But they are all over the place. Sometimes opening with linetwist, sometimes offheading left and sometimes offheading right. Rarely opening on heading. Now ive getting used to it, but i dont like it at all. Maybe its some problem with my canopy or maybe its because of me. I dont know. It is really sweet to fly. I love the powerfull flare and the responsive toggle input. Its hasnt got a steep linetrim, wich makes it easy to get back from those long spots. For me its been a good first eliptical canopy.

Hi After editing my videoclips in Pinnacle i have swapped to Adobe Premiere Pro. I would like to know if its possible to make smoother transitions between musictracks. To tune the music so that I can put the volume down in the end of the musictrack and put the volume up on the next track. Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

The swedish parachute association has a chart for progression. Its based on number of jumps after getting A license. The following example is for a jumper with the weight of 50 kilo/110 lb. Well i have got a Sony PC109. If the Sony 0.6 is about 0.45-ish, is the 0.7 lens more like a true 0.6? Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Well i´ve jumped a Sabre2 for like 200 jumps and tried a Pilot. From my point of view its pretty much the same. The only difference is that the Pilot opens even slower and softer than my Sabre2. And that the Pilot opens on heanding while my Sabre2 allways opens off heading. Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Well I don´t own one yet, but i´ve ordered a Vision 132. From what i´ve seen, the Vision has higher planform than Sabre 2. (planform= measures how elliptical the canopy is). I think its like 15 on Vision and 5,5 on Sabre 2, and 10 on Stiletto. While Crossfire2 has like 23. Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Im currently jumping a Sabre2, 170 (wl 1.0). And im going to downsize as i am buying a new container and canopy. Should i stick to Sabre2 or buy a Safire2? I kind of like my Sabre2 but the openings are really crap. I always get off heading openings (have had 2 on heading openings out of 150 jumps). I really like flying it though, but compared to other canopies its kind of ground hungry. Afraid i wont get back to the dz from those longspots. Is the Safire2 less ground hungry? Anyone who know´s if the glide is better on Safire2? Is there a big difference between 150 and 139? Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Well im going to order a new container (my first custom ordered) and im trying to figure out if i should order the soft reserv handle. Or stick with the included silver. And as i am a freeflyer, should i order the freefly handle for my pilotshute? Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Thanks alot I tried this out yesterday. After deployment i released the brakes and then let go of them. Then i did a front riser dive and it was all good without any wobbly feeling. So you were right, it was the brakelines making it wobbly. Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Hi Im flying a Sabre2, 170 (wingload 1.0) Im trying to learn a front riser approach on landings. But im having problem with the front of the canopy getting unstable. It starts to get wobbly and feels really unstable. And it wont get any better even if i try to hang with the same amount of weight on both risers. Is it just me or is it the canopy? Hi Well i´ve seen one Element container but haven´t jumped it. Tried it on thou and it was really comfy. Probably wont need those chestrings. Has there been any problems with the Element containers at your DZ? Problems with fit, riser cover coming open, hardware och fabric problems or anything else? Everyone at my DZ uses Odessey or Micron containers. But i cant see the point in paying $700 extra if there are no problems with the Element. Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Hi I am going to buy a new container. I´ve tried the Aerodyne Icon and liked it. But im not sure that it will be my choise. I´ve seen a container from the Russian company ParaAvis. Its called Element and is pretty much exactly the same container as the Icon. Anyone know anything about Element? Off all things to believe in - why not yourself

Hi I´m having problem with closed endcells on my Sabre2, 170. Almost every jump i get offheading openings, most of the time about 180 degrees. I´ve used it about 35 jumps and it doesn´t get any better. I always leave the nose without rolls or foldings. Any one who has any tips or solutions? Off all things to believe in - why not yourself
