  1. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't USPA also require a D license to become a TI?
  2. I think Longmont would be a great place to hold the next WFFC
  3. Can't say that I had a crossbrace opening scare me anymore than a tandem sniveling thru 2500'. Did you ever try wearing weights with your Katana before downsizing to the smaller canopies? "Remember to be nice to people on your way up cause you meet them on your way down." Jimmy D.
  4. I think the noise from freefall is awesome. And not as "extremely" loud as you might think. Didn't you hear them talking in Point Break. It mostly depends on exposure time. How many db/hr. Which is worse for your hearing, 45sec of freefall noise or 30min in the cockpit without earplugs?
  5. They must not have any semitrailers driving thru the area neither. People like this wouldn't know a quiet sky if it bit them in the ass. You may need to give out some discounted tandems. It may be enough to convince the right people that CQS has misguided intentions. Can anyone say if this has worked in the past? 6. Don't ask why, just do. "Remember to be nice to people on your way up cause you meet them on your way down." Jimmy D.

  9. Those look like standard Grand Caravan numbers, although the stats for the supervan don't increase the useful load all that much, so your argument may still be valid. I'd be more worried about how tight it will be in the cabin and how much weight you'll need to put at the rear. According to the stats, does this equate to 15 gallons of fuel per load? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
  10. The first ortho doc/surgeon I saw wanted to put a plate on my fibula and a screw thru my ankle. I got a second opinion from a different ortho clinic and the consensus from a group of doc's in that clinic said put a cast on it and your good to go. I guess what I'm trying to say is all breaks are different and before you let someone go and put metal in your body get at least a second opinion.
  11. June. May at the earliest. Drink lots of milk.
  12. Depends on the application. If you have a squeaky door hinge use WD-40. If you want to lube your cut away and reserve cables use dry silicone spray. I prefer not to use the wet silicone because it attracts dirt. Although silicone also works on squeaky hinges.
  13. Never mind. You already have the jump to forum button at the bottom. duh Forums: Dropzone.com: Suggestions and Feedback: ______________________________________ What are your thoughts about adding the header tree link to the bottom of the bottom of the page? Some of the forum pages can be very long. You already have page links at the bottom of multiple page topics but no way to get back to the tree unless scrolling back to the top or clicking the back button. Also pressing the home key takes you back to the top of the page. ______________________________________ Forums: Dropzone.com: Suggestions and Feedback: "Remember to be nice to people on your way up cause you meet them on your way down."
