  1. Here's our puppy. His name is Newton and we just picked him up yesterday. He's an 8 week old labradoodle.
  2. Regarding the recent PM you sent me: Since you disabled PM right after you sent your reply to me, I'm forced to post here. I am very concerned about safety and would love the opportunity to discuss with you face to face any issues that you may have. I don't think you are solving anything by making anonymous posts on dropzone.com. I think you would get much more done by contributing to the open discussions that happen at our DZ every month in the form of board meetings and club meetings. Feel free to e-mail me, call me or grab me at the club. But then again, doing any of those things would mean I would then know who you are, and you have shown time and time again that you have no desire to let that happen. Should you change your mind, the offer stands.
  3. Now this one is just flat out wrong. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/asshunter.shtml

  5. You don't need to roll the nose. It opens soft enough as is. I've put 500 jumps on Sabre 2's and have had consistently soft openings. I had one slammer that I think was caused by the slider not being pulled out far enough or not being against the stops.
  6. Why can't you just design your rocket to slow the descent rate to a survivable speed? That would be cool! We could use jetpacks instead of parachutes. Get on it! I'll order the first one. I can't wait for the opportunity to jump out of an airplane with 500 lbs. of metal and explosives on my back.
  7. Booties are going to help in a huge way. I personally have swoop cords in my RW suit and don't have problems with most RW jumps. I have a little more difficuly docking late on bigger ways when they start to get floaty. It's a lot harder to fly when you are that streched out. Booties may make the difference.
  8. When you bring your hands even with your shoulders, are they right in front of you or are they streched out to the side?
  9. I just found this thread that discusses Brian's "Signature Series." http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1622680 I think this is where I got the impression that the "Signature Series" was still manufactured by PD and then modded by Brian. After giving the thread a second look, it specifically states that they are built by Brian. I stand corrected.
  10. It was my impression that "signature series" canopies are manufactured by PD and then Brian mods them somehow. Although, I just looked at Big Air Sportz website and couldn't find any info on "signature series" for some reason.
  11. This doesn't really make sense. According to a conversation I had with Brian at SDC's Spring Expo, all of his canopy's are manufactured by PD anyway.
  12. That's what I was thinking. I think our team could learn something from them. It shouldn't be only about how many points you turn.
  13. You guys are doing awesome. It's so cool to see you guy's having so much fun. My favorite is the jump where Hoochie falls through your burble and you all geek the camera for the rest of the jump. That was a classic! Sorry we missed you guys this past weekend at SDC. We'll see you at Hinkley.
  14. Will the Pitts be available to jump out of, or is it just for rides?
