  1. Tony posted this on a FB thread that had a picture of a Apache XRW suit: "it has 4" less arm sweep, 3" higher arm ribs, a cambered airfoil and the X Bird leg, gives it more range" Scott C. The x bird leg wing gives it better horizontal speed when flying with canopys but still has amazing apache speed when flying by itself. The intake has change and it provide amazing pressurization. The side laterals are bigger giving it more pop. The trailing edge of the arm wing has been extended. Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456
  2. We just flew the new Apache XRW and a New Prototype still in R&D. We flew them with an JVX 63 loaded at 3.42 with no ratches. We have flown successfully an Xbird-Xwing-Apache-X2 with this configuration in the past. Both of the suits had no issues staying with the canopy even when in brakes. The canopy pilot unstow the breaks and the two suits had tons of range over the canopy. The canopy pilot went to half breaks and we where able to stay with him. We did a second jump with a Velo 71 loaded at 3.0 with no ratches. Both of the suits where able to stay with the canopy even when in breaks. The two suits where able to fly and had some range to play with it. In general, the two suits where pretty stable and had amazing pressurization and effortless pressurization even at really slow air speeds. We will continue testing the suits and Ill keep posting what we discover. We will take the suits down to a wing loading of 2.8 and even 2.6. Cya JF Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! stunt? Here in Lodi we are doing it on regular bases, we are turning point around the canopy. We are doing successful XRW jumps on every jump. Hand dock, Foot Dock, surf, Foot Dock, Hand dock. We are flying in between load with our messing around in the Dz operation. I think this could become a discipline with in our sport. Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456

Hi, Ill tell you a little bit about the XRW canopy pilots we fly with here in Lodi. Tj Langreen, has more than 10.000 Jumps Rob Pooley more than 6.000 Jumps Zak T, more than 5.000 You should expect to fly at high wing loadings of 2.8 minimum and this can go higher way higher and I won't discus any of this in here. So, you are not obligated to answer the fallowing. But I want you to ask your self the following - What is the highest wing loading you have ever jump. - How conformable where you with that wing loading. - What is the highest wing loading in a spinning canopy you have ever experience. - Would you be comfortable cutting away and deploying your reserve at that wing loading. - What is the highest wing loading you have land your reserve under. - Are you familiar with RDS. - how quick are you with RDS. - What is the smallest canopy you have jumped? - How conformable are you in case you have to land that highly loaded canopy out? Those are just some few things to think about. Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456
  7. Trae, Thanks for enquiring, i love to see how we are motivating people. regarding the "fine tuning" the WS pilot is got to see most of the fine closing. Their article is pretty cool and well written. You can learn allot form it. Please stay tuned, the time will come when the people who are qualify will be called and information will be share with them in a safe manner. Thanks JF Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! 9. Hi, We have experimented with almost every suit out there and I can tell you for fact that sustaining those speed in a Vampire is out of the question. In my opinion and from looking at the majority of pictures and videos produce about XRW, I can tell you that Xbird and X2 are the best choice for XRW. Both people the canopy and the wing suiter have to work really hard in different parts of the skydive. This is exhausting for both parties. Exercises, learn how to approach, how to stop, how to fly in your slot with out moving, learn where are the burbles. Be patient and enjoy your skydives. Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! 11. Hi, We are looking for people to join us in some XRW Jumps It dosen't matter what part of the world you are in, we want to know where and who you are. We are looking for people with good flocking skills, approach, maneuverability, range and a good disposition to learn. We need responsible, conservative individuals. (No cowboys wanted in here) If you know anyone who's got some of these characteristics please let us know. 12. Hi guys, So here is the video of this new angle of the old Mr Bill. This is called the Mr Bill Dause, is a Mr Bill, that goes into an XRW Surf, then the person transfer to a Wing suit rodeo and fly away. 14. Chris is right. But we also have realized that flying with out trim taps gives us a more stable canopy. We are able to fly with diferent pilots with out any trim taps or added weight in some cases. The important thing to pass on, is that this is definitely something that shouldn't be attempted by people with low experience. Cya JF Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456

  16. I'm posting this here because it doesn't fit under Wing suiting, or canopy, or anywhere else. This is what the guys up in Lodi just come up with, people can see our video and share it. 17. The ratio is a solid 2-1. We are doing 30-35 m/h vertical and 60-65 m/h horizontal. Somewhere in there Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456
  18. 7:1! Is funny you don't need to a bad ass, you just need to figured how to substain a 2 - 1. The problem is that that 2-1 is close to 30 miles downward and 60 miles forward and it might thake a bit of strategy and technique to mantaib for 2 munutes For everyone else who isn't a wingsuit forum regular, it's an inside joke. sorry if that isnt quite obvious; even canopies dont glide that well, except paragliders and some very special purpose skydiving-canopies (military applications).. one doesnt need to be a WS-forum regular, just have a SLIGHT interest in gear to know that.
  19. Hi DSE, In this particular jump we where at 3.4 but we have done it with out taps down to 3.1. below 3.1 is achievable but once you lose altitude is really hard to re-gain The canopy pilot is Tj Landgren Medusa Get Killed or Die Trying! Patent pending ATFK15456

I wont include the dates of Manufacturing because doing so will be taking a while guess, also it will take to much time to research. If anyone wants to do it, make sure you are not making shit up
