What i'm referring to is his profile is not filled out . It says he has 2500 jumps in 5 yrs. But the numbers he gave on all of his canopy experience didn't add up to the huge number of jumps he had in 5 yrs. He had less than 1000 according to his real numbers. Sorry for the misunderstanding! I didn't read thru all of your posts. I can see you and johnnie marko have some valid points. Personally i think that the bsr's need to read that it is a requirement by all dz's to have a minimum of 200 jumps before putting a go-pro or any other video cam on. I also think it should fall upon the dzo and s&ta to be held responsible if the rule is broken. When they do decide to jump a camera of any sort. There should be an instructional program designed just for jumping camera. Opinions anyone? Strato is merely stating what most people think about it that are experienced. There are reasons this has been a topic for years now. It is dangerous and if you won't or don't listen to the experienced camera flyer it's just plain stupidity! Are you jumping a gopro or any other type video camera or still? Just slow it down a little more, depending on how much light you are loosing. I have shot at 60 before without to much motion blur. Depending on how fast a subject is moving around or whatever. Exit shot will get some motion blur and deployment. But even on an overcast day you can shoot 160 and it should be just fine. I don't normally shot shutter priority anymore much though. Once you learn all your manual settings you'll get much nicer results. But that will come with experience later. Is there another program to do this easier? I have all 3 of those, and i prefer the optika .3 for handcam since it is the widest low dollar lens of the 2 fisheye lenses. Century baby death is a real nice lens but you will scratch it doing handcams since the hood is made of rubber and would have to taped in place to keep it on . The optika has a metal hood with set screws.
