Have a hypeye that The record light isn't working properly. Lights go into standby mode while recording and then red light gos off and on and then gos off permanently and has to be reset after every jump. Thanks Pharmer, My old articulating mount was so old it had the metal screws in it. I used electrical tape on the light wire, instead of shrink wrapping it . Never know when a line or something might grab it! I'm only using the removable slider. I didn't install the bag and pilot chute attachment. The slider has 2 handles front and back of the slider. Are the handles supposed to come clear out of the slider? For some reason they didn't make it so the slider stays in one piece instead it comes apart in 3 pieces 2 handles and then the slider itself. In our case it is cold to warm and humidity. It's cold at altitude and then gets warm and humid at opening altitude. Notice when you land on the ground on a humid day if you lay your helmet down on the ground even for a second it will fog up the lenses immediately. Get it off the ground asap and it is just fine then. Moisture from the ground or warm ground causes it. I owned a canon 15mm fisheye and a sigma 15mm fisheye the canon did the same thing but the sigma worked fine. I traded of the canon. I believe the canon glass was thicker or something as well . None of the xaos canopies are less demanding. Xaos make s a 21 cell and a 27 cell, the 27 is just more intense than the 21. A friend will bail you out of jail , a REAL friend will be sitting next to you in the cell slapping your hand saying "DUDE THAT WAS AWSUM " ................

Xbrace canopies are all very demanding when it comes to currency! I don't think there are any that are different Unless your talking about the 27 cell xaos which is another animal. I think the crossfire is an awesome choice for canopy too. Now that makes sense. :) I can't remember all the numbers off hand of my canopy experience. But since i went cross braced Swoops are much sweeter and more controlled "IMO" rather than being in the corner like with my elliptical canopies. I had 2 separate injuries under elliptical canopies. None with the xaos 98's i currently jump wing loading of 2.68 to be precise. And around 800 jumps on those doing 270's mostly downwind.
