Tom... Any new ideas? I worked all weekend and just getting caught back up to the real world.. Just reading what you were thinking while going through it all helps me.. cuz if it can happen to you... then it can happen to me. And from some of my prior experience, I can remember stuff in a crisis that saves MY BUTT!!! Thanks for sharing...

Absolutely! One thing I have learned with RW... small is best and slow is fast! I will have that jump etched in my mind forever. Not because of what went wrong but because it was perfect for the moment. I'm looking foward to the next 500 jumps.

Sunday morning saw clear crisp skies at Perris. Dan BC organized a small little jump for me. And on the second load of the day, 20 of the best skydivers climbed aboard an otter to help celebrate #500 for me. It wasn't anything more glamourous than a great exit and seeing smiles of men and women I call friends. It was a full point and the knowledge that I am a sky jumper. I belong there. I have to give credit all those who have taught me the best lessons in life. Every jump a new light bulb goes off. I remember the thrill of the first 25 jumps I made. And there is no difference now in my enthusiasm and complete love of the sport. I can't wait till the next moment I see a red light and being ready for the green light. I am home~ IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

laughing????? all those people who are unjured or killed because people aren't thinking or just wanting this to be a "FUN" time... THE RULES ARE MEANT FOR A REASON AREN'T THEY?? We aren't talking about who ate the last cookie in the cookie jar here??? Tattling isn't exactly the name of this game... So may I ask you? When you go to the Doctor.. and he really isn't a doctor,,, but he gave you a thorough exam...... you'd be OK with that too?>? IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

To clarify for myself,, some say that if the pilot doesn't take any money for himself as pay then he claims he isn't compensated for flying??? But flying and getting the time in... does qualify as pay all the same??? IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!
