  1. >>Way to go my friend, I've been trying to bite my tounge lately, but that was a great post. It's nice to hear all those discussions we've had come out in a statement.
  2. >>Better be careful. Might wind up with more than you can handle.
  3. >>Hey Tom, looks like John is giving you a run for your money for the worst BASE saftey record!
  4. >>Ha ha! I'm sure you'd give your honest and unbiased opinion! Make a deal with her Faber, you post your bikini pics for her topless pics!
  5. >>Wow I'm really surprised. When I've flown with my rig I've just worn it in my stash bag and carried it on no problem. Only once did they ask me what it was and when I explained that it was a parachute they got a little confused for a while, but I just started looking annoyed like I was going to miss my flight and they waived me through.
  6. >>Hehehe nope no stitches required the rubber band worked great (thanks!), though I don't think you'd want it back now! I've had the urge to go pretty much all day after that jump, even though I fell off the railing back on to the tower trying to climb out Still managed to eventually climb over again and flick it though. Hope you guys didn't get too tired of waiting for me down there ha ha! Good times, we'll have to do it again
  7. >>You totally nailed it too, nice one. Welcome back!

    >>It's not a disadvantage, but I've noticed between jumping a FOX 260, an Ace 260, and a Troll 285DW MDV that I can can take it deeper with the bigger, vented Troll (2.5+ secs) lightly loaded and get a softer opening versus taking the same delay under a smaller, more loaded unvented canopy and getting slammed. A lower WL is just gonna help you dude.
  9. >>I don't think it'll fit in your widow maker!
  10. >>I like how the climbers refer to the park rangers as "tools". Them climbers is all right I tells ya!
  11. >>That Vision died a noble death. There still some peices of it left if you want to genuflect over them!
  12. >>Man that would be cool! You could wave at yourself in the windows reflection as you go by ha ha!

    >>Man that's a bummer. I spoke with him a few weeks ago in Vegas; he gave a buddy of mine a copy of his video, where he winches himself up a tower on his 'shawnevator'. He seemed like a one of a kind.
  14. >>Hey dude, just go talk to pete or willie, they'll get you back in the air bro. No worries, you know what to do! Go for it!
  15. >>Hehehe, time goes by but some things never change... I happen to know a Norcal freak of nature with that same bumper sticker on his truck, 'cept it's much bigger!
  16. >>Heh heh, John told me about that one yesterday...be careful bro if she gets busted up out there it'll be all bad!
  17. >>Just watch out he might ask you to close it up for him!
  18. >>I love that song!! I try and get folks to sing it on the ride up but no takers Losers!
  19. >>Faber don't tell me he took you Ground Launching! There is no way you hauled your butt up that hill! Impossible! I don't believe it!
  20. >>Well guys, I'm back at work (that totally sucks!), but I wanted to give a quick shout out to you trouble makers Chad & Katie: Thanks for your friendship and hospitality, you didn't have to do that but you did. You two are just fuckin cool. "Now it's time for some James Bond shit" Faber: You Danish freak! Between the swimwear modeling and stuffing taco bell fire sauce packets up my nose while I was sleeping I don't think I stopped laughing for ten minutes! I wanna jump a Faberpack! PeterC: I will never forgive you for murdering Becky! Be sure and tell me about the tandem BASE exploits of Becky II ha ha ha! I'll have to come to Denmark some time and check that E you were showing me >>I didn't get to jump but I still had a blast, man I didn't want to leave. Hope you guys are having fun in Portland hucking with Ray et al, and be sure and give me a call when you hit California, there's some cool shit down here. It's the BASE-jumpers that make BASE so just awsome!
  21. >>Pete! See I just knew you were lurking out there somewhere! Man that's one logbook I wouldn't mind having a read-through oneday, much respect to Mr. Edsburg. Hope your shoulder is treating you right and thanks for the bit of history.
  22. >>Well I'm hoping you can change that with your book! I'd definetly like to hear about Dennis hiding out in the bush pounding out a 100 jumps a season all the while evading the NPS. I also find it interesting that the greenie has been jumped for over 30 years, even before it was completed. If that bridge could talk...
