  1. Still got to try those front loops and several in a row. They must be a lots of fun. Safe skies Alejandro B27585
  2. Everything will go just well. That L7 and h&P are really fun. On L7 you'll do whatever you think you need to improve. On my H&P I pull about 4 seconds after exit and while the canopy was still deploying i was watching and geeking the airplane banking to the right and going away. it was a blast. Have tons of fun this weekend and be safe Safe skies Alejandro B27585
  3. Yeah and it keeps on getting better and better. Feel good not to have the pressure of doing a task and you just go and relax and have fun on feefall. I did a backloop on the last jump today and the rest of the freefall was washing the scene and of course my alti Congrats to you too Alejandro B27585
  4. I'm in Cap e Coral, Florida. How can I get there? Alejandro B27585
  5. My drop zone is Skydive Southwest Florida at Sundance Farms, LaBelle. FL. Today was my graduation day (L7 and L8) and end up doing two more solo jumps. It was a blast. I was even able to downsize a bit from a student Mav. 250 (9 cells) to a Sharpchuter 245 (7 cells). We did the Hop'nPop (L8) from our WestWind from 5K. It felt different to see the canopy sniveling longer than 5 secs. On my last jump today I did a slopy diving exit at 10K from a Cessna 206 (I was weak from all the packing and hungry) and did not bring my feet to my butt so I end up flipping over 2 times, those flips were a lot of fun and the recovery was pretty fast (hard arch) Good to see that you can get unstable and recover. had a butt landing. Now I got to work on my A license. I really appreciate all the hints and info that you guys share here in the forums. It really keep us together. On March 19-21 my drop zone is throwing a Casa Boggie so all of you guys in Florida and why not from far away, from Freeflyers to RWs (small and big ways) and fun jumpers that would like to have fun with us are welcome to come. For info just go to http://www.skydiveswflorida.com Safe skies Alejandro B27585
  6. Thanks guys for all the quick replies. I'll get a final opinion from a rigger when I go to the DZ next weekend. I was just worry after reading about canopy check tips in the safety forums on things not to worry like little snags and pin holes but mine concern was a pea size bigger. I will let you know after I get a rigger opinion and also how my next jump went. Thanks a lot Alejandro B27585
  7. I appreciate your feedback and will do that when I go this week to my DZ. Meantime i would like to get some opinion from people in the forums maybe riggers. thanks
  8. Hi guys. I'm new to the sport and have a little concern with the student rig I'm jumping. After my last jump AFF2 I decided to learn some packing techniques with the same student rig I'm jumping so I went ahead and clearing my left side A lines I found that the canopy has a little rip right where the slider stop is sew (the size of a green pea) Since is a new DZ and there's not a lot of choices on student gear I got a little concerned about it and I asked my instructors and they said the rip has been there for the last 100 jumps and is not getting any bigger and it is safe to jump it. There's no way to patch it because the rip on the edge of the slider stop. I know that a little rip the size of a pea can get a lot bigger when the canopy opens at 120 MPH. I love the sport and I would like to play it the safest possible since the margin for error is so extra NIL. I'd really appreciate some feedback from those of you with more experience on what to expect from this rig. Thanks Alejandro B27585
  9. That's going to take me a while (A) but I will get there (budget reasons). I know if I jump more often that will improve my performance. Eventually when I get out of student it will get cheaper so I can catch up with the fun. On my L2 jump I almost screwed up. I was on on the middle of my second 360 turn at 6000 (lock on) but did not lock and continued to complete my turn on initial heading. On heading when I check the altimeter I was 5000 and right when I was starting to wave JM pull my ripcord. Learn my lesson. Next time I won't sacrifice altitude by maneuvers safe skies Alejandro B27585
  10. Welcome back. I'm restarting in the sport after a long while. Good to see new people almost every day. safe skies Alejandro B27585
