Anyone read this book? If not, you should, even if you are not a fan of that type of book, it gives you an insight into what war is really all about and the difficult and often deadly tasks undertaken EVERY DAY by our fighting soldiers. I found some of the choices made and actions undertaken by Luttrel and his comrades interesting (not in any way, shape or form questioning his or their patriotism, skills, or bravery; I mean read the book, good lord). I found some of the situations he and they found themselves in morally and tactically ambiguous (at best) and am curious as to anyone else's take on it. Recognize this is NOT "Monday Morning Quarterbacking", I just found some of the situations thought provoking and questioned what choices I would have made. These guys made the ultimate sacrifice for their country (i.e., you and I), and did so in a manner that spoke tremendously to their honor and gallantry. "I gargle no man's balls..." ussfpa on SOCNET

I disagreed with a poster on here just last week and I get a PM saying they look forward to reading about me in the incidents section. Seems when some people run out of intellectual ammo they resort to wishing someone to die. This person then blocked PM's from me. There are some funny people around. Last year someone threatened to report me to my boss on account of a post I made here that upset him. I mean, not only is that over the top, but why would anyone think my boss would care? Careful. Seriously. This is some kind of joke, right? You can afford to skydive, and yet owe more than 10K in back child support to your kids? And are complaining because you got busted for it? To be honest (without passing a moral judgement), I am a little confused. I, myself have been in a similar situation a few times (involving unpaid speeding tickets, not child support).
