Did you formal training for B.A.S.E ? if you didn't how did you learn ? Do you think its a good idea for base training to become regulated like skydiving ? Without Adventure What Is Life?????

i am just wandering if anyone has any info or is actively doing anything to expose or wonderful sport to the masses? i am so tired of turning on the extreme sports channels and only seeing 3 sec. clip during the intro of programs. due to the amount of reruns i see on these channels the producers are in need of material! why don't the very talented people who make the DVDs we all watch submit them to these people? look what has happened to freestyle motoX in the past few years now they have reg. TV coverage, sponsors, good paying contest . i wish i was a camera flyer i would submit my pics to anyone and everyone who would accept them to advance our sport. maybe if we all worked together we could really get some attention for our sport and more people would understand it and respect it and us more. what do you think???????????????

i am an american skydiver living in turkey and i want to start BASE but have no resources for learning here. this place is highrise construction heaven and it is not officially illegal. but i would like some coaching does anyone have any net resources i am the type to just get a rig and teach myself but would prefer to have some info to get started and be safe i have very good flying and canopy skills if you want to come here for a holiday i can hook up up with almost unlimmited jump sites for some training. i have found the same thing concerning prices i am buying all new now but i am at the canopy size i feel i will stay at at least within one size but if you plan to downsize alot remember your cont. will not properly hold a considerably smaller canopy. i like the design of both. i am looking for info on the pilot canopy some say it is ver docile some say it is a good alarounder with some mild swoopability do you know first hand or at least 2nd hand (not the basic sale text) if so do tell Please thanks
