  1. I was told that if the package ie. plastic has not been taken off the batteries for use, that the date starts that day. I have 3 to 4 boxes of batteries that just over 2 years, is it ok to use these if they test out ok? Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  2. Need to find out where I can find in writing that the batteries start their due date once they are removed from their package. IE. a box of cypres batteries on the shelf for 3 years but haven't been open?? Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...

  5. I have a 135 that only has about 20 jumps on it. Back in Sept. 02 I had an accident and my canopy ended up with a rip on the top skin and on the rib of cell #5 I believe. Even though I am still recovering, I'd like to know who or where I can send this brand new canopy to. I have called Atair and they gave me the name of my local rigger, but he said that the repair is something that he doesn't have the equipment to repair it with. Any help would be appreciated greatly. 6. Ok, will someone please tell me that there is such a thing as a video that shows tech. on swooping diff. ways? I have looked everywhere and can not find a $%&#*&% thing! Can someone help me please? Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  7. I demoed a 150 and a 135 and was taken at both with it's snappy toggle reactions and fast fwd. speed. This thing will swoop your ass for a long distance, if you want it to. I decided on the 135 and still waiting for it. It's only been 4 weeks now, and I can't wait to jump this awsome bird. I will be wing loading it about 1.6 to 1 and even at that this sucker will stop you dead in your tracks with it's flare. ( and the ground if you're not carefull, just like any canopy can do). I love this canopy and can't wait to have one of my own.
  8. I currently down sized to a 135 and kept my 170 Tempo reserve. Is this going to be a problem if I were to ever have a duel deployment?? Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  9. Is there any real diff. between these two canopies besides the price. I have been told that there is very little diff. and for me to just save my money and buy the Cobalt. I am currently demoing one now and love it. Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  10. They make them, but who and where can I buy them. I am talking about the covers that goes on your risers and around the soft links where there are connected to the risers and all the way up to the lines. Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  11. I own a Tempo reserve,,, do you think it really matters if it is a PD reserve or a Pisa reserve? Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  12. I know it says it is rated for PD canopies, but why would it be a prob. it I used it on my Hornet. and what are the pros and cons of them? Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  13. I have over 200 jumps on my 170 wing loading it about 1.3 to 1. I have only had 2 hard opening and that was during the first 10 jumps. I have PRO packed and phyco packed my Hornet and it has always opened sweet and on heading. As far as the lady having over 1,000 jumps,,,,,,well like a friend use to tell me, " Numbers don't mean jack shit, it's the quality of the jumps that count"! And I am guessing that she was just not taking the time to pack or the ten thousand other reasons it could be. But I have never heard of this canopy reacting like the one she was telling you about. Believe me you would be making a piss poor mistake if you sent yours back. This is a great canopy and depending on your wing load, this baby can give you some real nice swoops and clean smooth, crisp turns. I really love mine!!!! 14. Can you please tell me the pros and cons about using these on your reserve. PD has made it for the reserve now, and they advertise that they have been tested and proven and that they are up to 6 times stronger then the metal links. I already have them on my main and have had no problems with them and like the clean look and smaller packed space. But what about using these on my reserve,,,, Lead Follow Or Get The Hell Out Of The Way!!!...
  15. OK, another question..... This is concerning a straight in landing, nothing fancy to keep it very general. If you are coming in on a landing and you find yourself about 20 ft. too short from where you want to land, by pulling on your rear risers just a little bit, would this give you that little extra distance forward to make up the 20 ft. or so?
