I will be voting for Kerry but I think Bush closed better than Kerry did. I think over all Kerry presented him self more coherently (sp?). I also thought it was interesting how when the first light came on Bush seemed to focus and get on message. Most of the time before that he seemed to wander around. I'm no Bush fan but that was just a normal everyday screw up. If I had to hear about wrong war and wrong time one more time I thought I would scream. While living in german I saw a drama on TV where a kid of about 10 did a face plant in the crotch of a girl of about 18, It was part of the story and not the end of the world. Killing them in general is not the answer. Figuring out why they hate us and changing our behavior where justified might be. i am not saying we should all live under Islamic law by any means. Not disputing your point but it works both ways. The US sends money to Isreal "as long as it is not used for ..." ... can be expansion or on the west bank or what ever. Hell it is easy to say "see your money went for head start programs." The local tax money that would have gone for these programs went to build the wall. If we send money to anyone who is doing something we officailly disagree with we are still supporting that thing. "Truth is tough. I have not paid close enough attention to this particular scandle because I a mn the anybody but Bush camp. But having been in the military I can tell you that every medal has a ribbon. Many, most, all awards have ribbons. And oh yeah there are a butt load of ribbons you can get too, He could quite easily have thrown ribbons over the fence and kept the medals and misspoken in interviews. What I find interesting about this debacle is that so far the GWB camp is not sisputing the document, they are only saying that he was honorably discharged.
