    Raising my wild children. :P. I haven't been around just because I'm not physically able to jump or fly any more. -I'm not angry about that, just thankful for the time I had. I still have the odd flying or jumping dream, but it never leaves me sad, so I'm in a good place. :)
    I still use my DZ email for discount offers & stuff...heehee. :ph34r: -Actually, that's what I was doing when I thought, "What the hell. Over 115,000 unread threads, let's see what's up in the Bonfire nowadays."

    Whoa. Look who grew up! Where's she headed to school?



    She was accepted to RIT (Rochester Inst. of Tech) in NY. We are so proud!! That school is doing absolutely amazing things with science, and so will she. B|

    She is majoring in Criminal Justice, & is out to better the way evidence is processed, in some way -she has so many different routes available at this college; it will take a year or two to find where she feels best suited.

  6. I can't use the 'quote' function at the moment but in response to what a 16 year old boy would be doing out @ 2am...probably heading home after crawling out of his girlfriend's window. Just sayin' it happens. Frequently.

  9. Hey, thanks!! :) Looking for tinfoil, looking for tinfoil...hey waitaminute...uh, I'm not entirely clear on the whole 'electricity, magnetism, electrocution' cycle. Mebbe I should look that up first. Who knows how much energy my brainium is generating! Might fry myself! :o

    Now will that work when I'm driving through town and all the lights in the town flicker, my car dies, then everything comes back on? 'Cuz that one pissed me off. >:( That's happened twice; once in each vehicle. Then I had to pay BIG BUCKS to get both vehicle fixed.

    And then everyone blames ME for breaking the cars! Like it's MY fault I have an incredibly magnetic personality. B|:P:)

    I'm on my cell phone (T-Mobile MDA) and I in the middle of a conversation, the person I'm talking to can't hear me any more. "Hello? Hello? Jaye? You still there?" Finally, I hang up and call them back, and it happens again.

    This happens time and time again, over and over. I figure I must be hitting some unknown mute button with my cheek or something, so I use my hands free. Same thing. I try the speaker. Same deal. Finally my husband says "Screw this, you need a new phone."

    We get a used older version Blackberry. Hooray! I like the new phone. :)
    Our home phone is going out, so a few weeks later we start looking for a new one. We go to Frye's and get a handy dandy Motorola set. BUT...by now, I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE BUT NOW ON MY BLACKBERRY!

    Same thing...they can't hear me at all. I can yell into the phone, nothing. But I can hear them...I even bought a new hands-free, but the same issue.

    The first time I plug in the new home phone and try to use it, I get the same thing AGAIN...I hear it ring, they answer, I say 'Hello', they can't hear me. I keep yelling, 'HEY! I'm on the PHONE! HELLOOOOO!' nadda.

    I have a new I-phone...and it hasn't happened yet (yippee!) but, I am getting horrible headaches when I'm messing with it. Pretty sure that is from focusing on the tiny print, but who knows...

    Anyone else have this weird issue? It hasn't happened at all to me in a while, but MAN was that bizzare!

    There wasn't any public news, as it was in trial and we couldn't talk about it. It has been in case setting awaiting trial for A YEAR AND A HALF. >:(

    I replied to a very kind PM I got, and forgive me if I copy and paste just to get some details out...but there is about a triple shot of whiskey downstairs that is calling me:

    I guess the good news in this is that he was NOT acquitted by the jury; he was NOT found 'not guilty'.

    It was a hung jury. We don't know what the split was. But in Washington state, that means he goes free, unless it happened to be something like an 11-1 guilty split, which then they'll put the case back into what they call case setting (which took us a year and a half) and try to plea negotiate, or re-try the case if the prosecutor feels strongly about it, but I didn't get a good vibe from her that she would re-try.

    If it goes back to another trial, our child will have to face that son of a bitch again in trial. So will I. So will her dad, but I don't worry about us...

    Fucker laughed when they announced the hung jury and no verdict.

    There is still a small chance that he will be held accountable...but hearing 'no verdict' was the most devastating pain I have had in my life, next to when they told me my son might die when he was a baby.

    I don't remember ever crying like that in my life.

  18. Just please pray for justice. That the jury sees the truth. Please send us your prayer that an evil man does not escape his fate and is allowed to go free to hurt another child.

    Please help us. This child deserves for the truth to set her free of the nightmares and the pain.

    God knows I would have given anything to save her this grief if I could have.

    That could be easly resolved with the Firefly phone. There are two (!) buttons on the basic model, one for mom and one for dad for emergencies, plus 50 preprogrammable numbers, no texting, no problem. Not cool enough? Well tough, then you get nothing.
    Most of us here grew up without cell phones and computers and turned out fine. Sheesh...>:(

    The screen inputs are hidden through the roof liner and then down to the dash where the M2G was stolen; I'm sure I can figure out which plugs go to that. So I'd just try to find some kind of conversion cables that will plug in to my IPhone and the AudioVox monitor...figuring out if it's composite or component input.
