My needs and wants revolve around sleep. Lately I've had to get up at 330 am and need to go to sleep by 7pm. I want to stay up later but am exhausted the next day if I do. I know, I know...SIUCC! _________________________________________

My script was -15 myopia with 1.5 astigmatism about 10 yrs ago and my doc used me as an "experiment" because he hadn't had a patient with my severity of blindness yet. I was so blind without contacts or glasses that I had to feel the wall to find the bathroom in the middle of the night. He brought me up to a 20/20 in my left eye and 20/25 in my right eye on the first Lasik procedure. He gave me the expectation that it might take an enhancement to get me there 6 months post procedure, but he successfully did it the first time. I've enjoyed being free from glasses and contact lenses, but know that the reality of reading glasses is on my horizon. _________________________________________

You can't imagine how many times I've thought of him during this experience. I've wanted to call him so many times and ask his advice and share my successes as well. Damn I miss him. _________________________________________

The past couple days have been quite the challenge, so the encouraging comments mean so much to me right now. This past week has really tested my tenacity. The course is supposed to be "only 3 weeks" here in Phoenix, Arizona but I'm planning to stay on the Range another week to work on straightline backing, parallel parking, serpentine backing, and 45 degree ally docking before proceeding to the Road. I'm doing well with those skills, but I just want to feel more comfortable and confident. Thanks again for the support
