I thought about something more specific than youtube videos
-
And what about the free one ??
-
Thanks a lot guys, the links are very helpfull !
Maybe someone knows where I can get tandem training video online. Thanks! -
I understand that there is the manual for tandem rigs, with emergency procedures described, I studied thoes. Now I just want to find something similar to AFP manual, if it exists, compare them and try to learn as much as I can. But thanks anyway

QuoteHey! This is not Russia. Be careful in the choice of expressions.
Sorry, ex USSR -
Ok, so I planing to get tandem rating in future.
I tried to find some handbook or manual of tandem emergency procedure or a TI study guide. I only manage to locate AFP "TM handbook". Maybe someone knows where to find more of thoes? Thanks! -
QuoteQuotePlease name the manufacturer of this reserve handle.
Nevermind. There are countries where having TSO on H/C and reserve is not a must, and more DIY is allowed....
Yes it is, and Lithuania one of thoes.
We have plenty of russian gear in service, and this reserve handle looks like a serious safety issue to me.
Simple scenario, stitching of the loop, that holds metal cable, gets damaged by sharp edge of the tube... I'm sure the rest is obviosus -
Please name the manufacturer of this reserve handle. -
I think it's not a best place to ask about Russian gear on DZ.com. Try russian forums, the Flamingos are commonly used there. Besides it's too late to ask, as you already flying it

Thanks! -
Hi, maybe some one knows where is the label on Dolphin of Dolphin student is placed ? Thanks! -
Maybe some one knows, does manufacturers give discount for US military only, or it goes to any allyed forces ? -

However, I do think that tandem flying will evolve just like freefly and other disciplines did...
I guess you don't get it, if an AFF instructors like freeflying, they don't teach their students to sitfly at AFF course, it's not safe, the same thing goes to tandems... -
QuoteAs in hold onto the student, which is hooked onto the TI, when they deploy, jump off em !
Holy shit...!
I remember the bounce bingo with your name in the firs line, but now I think you are truly a few steps ahead of the other competitors... -
Thanks, I saw that one in classifieds, but it's not the right size for me, besides it costs 50 euros more than the new one from the stock
So the question is, maybe someone selling used GTI or Phantom? I'm 5'11 (179cm) and 170 pounds (76 kg) normal build. I have flown the birdman L size suit and it filts me good, but I think I could squeeze my ass in M too Thanks a lot -
Ok, and what about GTI or S3? Maybe they are the better choice ?

Hi to all. I'm new to wingsuit, just got 2 flights on demo Firebird. And guess what - I liked it
I made a search and it seems you can get second hand Birdman Classics for quite cheap.
So the question is, is the BirdMan Classic suit are suitable for today needs and flying style. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this suit.
I'm not planing to be just flying wingsuit, I just want to take it for fun jumps or sunset loads. So I don't think I need high performance suit. I plan to fly in group, and other 2 or 3 wingsuit pilots at my dropzone are flying Firebirds I think.
Maybe Birdman classic is not a good choice? Then what I should be looking for? Thanks! -
Put on your harness and fasten the legs belts. When it's done the pants should be normal lenght. If wear pants without the harness they are usually seems to long. -
QuoteDude, just remember that if the person wants you to pay them before you or a rigger looks at it then remember that is a scam!!!
Or he thinks you are a scam Happend onece to me
Speaking on topic, be sure the guy selling the kit has is, ask to make specific foto of some parts that are not on the pictures you have, and exuses as "my camera broken" doesn't counts, go and borrow it, if buing on dropzone.com you can ask some references, maybe some one known on the forum can vote fore the seller, ask specific questions, try to use rigger service. -
I just modifyed my Protec liner using pipe isolaiting foam. I removed the soft part of original liner and replaces it with isolating foam. The result is in first picture. I will cover the foam with some fabric, just looking one right now.
Oh, and one more important upgrade in second pic -
QuoteHoly shit!It's arrived!
Now all I've got to do is assemble the fucker, pack it all and see if it fits!At least I've now got a use for the cypres that's been sat in my bag doing nothing for 8 months!
BTW build quality is still good, which is a relief
.
Yap, now if you had a cutaway and lost reserve pilot chute you only have to wait another one for 15 months to jumt the rig again A have Atom too, already bought a back up rig -

My suggestion would be not to buy off anyone with a yahoo.com account. The only people that use those accounts these days are dodgy scams.
Paypal, wire transfer, bank draft all good.
The best way to buy a rig from an international person selling second hand is to post them a 'bank cashiers cheque'.
Safest way.
I disagree, a lot of people use yahoo accounts, inclding myself. I have bought several items from dz.com classified. And the was few times when seller calld me a scam. For example when I asked bank account number to transfer the money ( I dont know you guys in the US but in europe it's normal to transfer money dirrect to bank account, and if you know that number you only can put money in not to take them out...) I also have paid for several items throught Western Union service, but make some checks, for example ask the phone number to get in touch or ask to make photo of a specific part of the rig to know that the person actually have it.
For the paypal - my country don't accept that, and no one uses cheques there. So what, not to buy?? I don't think so, just check everything five times and only then perform any money transactions -
Hey, looking for new rig and considering Aerodyne Icon. I now jump crosfire2 119 but planing get 109 in future. The Aerodyne chart says max 327cu.in for I2, it's ok for crossfire 109 but the pack volume of 119 is 342. Maybe some one had experience getting CF2 119 in I2, how does it feat and does it feat at all (considering canopy isn't new 1300+ jumps maybe) ?? Thanks
Mhh and one more question, what about PD optima 126 reserve with Vigil or Vigil2 in I2. Maybe some one had experience with it to? Thanks a lot and sorry for bad english -
It costs 980 usd with standart options which incude hip rings. I have seen quite few of them, but they were made well, we also have one Quest student container at our DZ, no bad response. But in your plase I'd better choose something of US manufacturer, especially regarding future support question. And remember to add sending cost
