    JVX reline

Anyone knows how much time it takes for a JVX reline if I send it to the shop in Chicago ?
  2. Try This one as well... It has the Icarus and deadalus canopies in one website. www.nzaerosports.com
  3. Yep... I also tested a couple of balls with different speeds... What I'm saying is my «one size fits all» freefly ball is the 160mph one. Thanks for your inputs Mr bones, I could'nt agree more ! Ball jumps are a lot of fun, but they are such a big mind f*ck !
  4. oupss... yeah... I was'nt very fast on that one... thanks for the laugh.
  5. From the experience I have, the average freefly speed we should be aiming for is around 160-165 miles per hour. I do most VRW around that speed, all the record jumps and big ways I was in were around that speed. Sometimes we speed it up but rarely over an average of 170-175. How fast do you usually freefly (average) ? Curious to know. If I remember correctly, the test for the Atm Dolphin (skyball) is around those speeds, (165) ?
  6. Yep... The tail is gonna change everything ! I won't give the «secret recipe» online but I think a freefly ball should go around 160m/h , and you can head down or sit with it. If you can't sitfly at 160, you probably should'nt jump a ball... If you decide to experiment and go for the «trial and error» method, make sure you have a clear spot ;) Have fun !
  7. I would appreciate feedback and opinions on this please... How big of a difference would it make on the oppenings if I put an RDS built for a VX96 on my JVX90. The JVX slider is a bit bigger so my first guess is faster oppenings but i'm curious to see what people think about that. Would it be a totaly stupid idea ? Thanks ! Frank

  9. I bought my fisrt complete rig here... I also bought a cypress and a couple of canopies over the years. I've always had what I expected and did most of the deals based on trust, but make sure it's not a scam. A good way to do so is to call the guy's DZ to confirm. I think it's the best place to get used skydiving gear right now.
  10. I would have money I would be in a serious relationship I would have time on week-ends I would spend x-mas with my family, not at z-hills. I would never be sore after screwing up a blind man under canopy I would'nt have to drive 2 hours, twice every week-end to get to the DZ I would'nt waste time on DZ.com on office hours ... yep.. it would totaly suck !
  11. Hey Minna (It's frank from Gan) It's too bad you have to stop the Aff... But keep on skydiving ! I'm happy I was there for your first solo jump and you really left your mark at our DZ... Thanks for the beer too :) Nice pics from the formation you did BTW,... I'm sure I'll see ya soon in a plane or in the skies ! «start spotting out buildings and antenna's and plan to jump solo» ; I knew you were crazy but you really are crazyer than I tought :)
