  1. I know of two here at SSM since I first started jumping in May of 1999.The first was a jumper on the pops state record in 2000.Jumper was a local jumper who was knocked unconcious when he collided with another jumper during breakoff.AAD fired and he came to just as he crashed into the runway.Suffered a broken arm and bruises. The ironic thing is that he was the first recipient of an AAD cypress that was donated to him through a drawing that Phil and Deb Chappell purchased by setting aside a % of each jump ticket. As long as the jumper kept jumping they could use the AAD.If they gave up the sport then the AAD would be given to another skydiver that did not have the means to purchase one. Brad Slager,if only you would have had second AAD. Blue Skies, Dave
  2. Ah, one must taste DECIBEL's home brew that he brings out to SSM.Hit's the spot!
  3. On the flip side I have had female and male students reach back and give my thighs a firm squeeze under canopy with several provacitive suggestions.Did I go to the men's only forum and voice my complaints,no.One must keep their mind on business. My grandfather probably gave the best piece of advice that I've recieved."Don't put your peter on the payroll.Once you do, they own you". Blue Skies, Dave
  4. A good example is in the women only forum_male instructors_.What got me was jlmiracle's post#93 that inappropriate touching went on with tandem and Aff students more than what one would realize. When one thinks about it we are really at the mercy of our students. Blue Skies, Dave
  5. Good Info, where I get caught is when you do back to backs and you haven't harnessed the student yourself.I find that the same instructor's that hook up the student for me usually have the chest impingement problem.Plus you don't have the time to talk about the chest strap problem.I have always positioned the chest strap according to where I thought it would end up after opening,i.e.breast size, height etc. Blue Skies, Dave
  6. Will only reply with what I filled my tag in Texas this year[whitetail].Two bucks with 300 WSM Remington BDL.1 doe out bedroom window of house with 25-06 Ruger mark 1. 2 does with Colt sporter match 223.remington open sight.Love that backstrap, bucksticks, jerky, dried sausage and pan sausage.DZ loves the meat also! Blue Skies, Dave
  7. Just curious how my fellow tandem instructors go about loosening a too tight chest strap on a female student. I do what Kevlar taught me in that when after opening and the student is complaining that the chest strap is causing discomfort, I ask them first if they would like me to loosen the strap, and if a yes is given I tell them that I will present my hand in front of of them and for they, the student, to place my hand on the buckle to release the pressure. If some inadvetent touch occurs I say "whoops I'm sorry".So far no complaints. Also is there an optimum placement of the chest strap on a larger"breast" student, during hookup. Blue Skies,Dave
  8. I personally use a Colt 44mag. Anaconda 4" barrel. 180 to 300 gr. bullets depending on the situation.Use glaser safety slugs for close combat where you don't want the slug to go through the bedroom wall and kill a member of your family.300gr.for dangerous game.Like Clint said "Make my Day"
  9. No, John Rich for El Presidente!!!
  10. No, actually the nitrous oxide.
  11. E mail from a tandem student, female in her 30's Dave, I need it NOW!!!. I know that I haven't known you very long and I shouldn't be asking you for this so soon, but I really need it badly. I haven't had it for awhile and I can already feel it going in good and hard and coming out softly. If you would do this for me no one would ever know.I am sure you can satisfy my needs andI'd be very grateful if you would. You must think that I have a lot of nerve but I can feel my tongue wrapping around it and sucking out all the juices until it is very dry.I am not going to beat around the bushes any longer so..............Do you have a piece of gum? LOL Boy did she have me going for awhile, finished off with a nice X-mas greeting. Blue Skies Dave

    death...

My son just enlisted inthe U.S. Army and I pray that the crap in Iraq and Afganistan is over before he gets to the point of deployment.I've asked him about the big one and he said if it's his time then so be it.Say's he is not afraid of death.I used to think the same but every time I cut away and that beautiful reserve opens I thank God for another chance. Blue Skies, Dave
