  1. Woo hoo! Now we can actually see it from the road I drove right by it the first time we were there. I'll be back in 2 weeks with my brother... he liked his tandem, he's gonna LOVE this! Jen Arianna Frances
  2. Patriots and the Saints - with the Saints to win it all... this coming from a chick who harrasses the patriots at training camp every year But hey, I've got two footballs signed by 80% of the teams from 2003 and 2005 Jen Arianna Frances
  3. I missed last weeks session with my trainer on doctors orders - I pulled everything in my shoulder and I have to give it a few days to heal. This week I missed it because my daughter is in intensive care at the children's hospital... I think he's ok with my 'excuses' Jen Arianna Frances
  4. As someone who lives there... I agree Arianna Frances
  5. Um... you could do something totally radical and not have any payments. Keep saving until you can pay cash... all of my future cars will be that way. Owing people is stupid, your income is the fastest growing asset you have - save it! People in my grandmothers generation never had car loans or credit cards to buy lots of new stuff and made it just fine, for some odd reason our generation has an inflated sense of entitlement and we need new and there are lots of 'financing offers' to help with that. So much so that many people are tens of thousands of dollars in debt and living paycheck to paycheck. They should be scared when social security runs out and they have $50k in debt and no help from uncle sam toward retirement... Jen Arianna Frances
  6. Good luck with that Billy... TSA made me dump 7 full bottles of milk for my baby when on a business trip a few months ago... it took me 4 days to pump that much and I was in tears Jen Arianna Frances

    Spiders

Let me preface this by saying, I didn't think I had arachnaphobia We have spiders in our finished basement - daddy long legs. Every few days we'll notice new 'webs' popping up in the corner of doorways and such... not a big deal - vaccuum them up and be done with them, until last night when I walked, face first, into a web in the middle of one of the rooms and go a spider in my hair. Words can not describe the horror I felt, or the scene I created. It was like the scene out of "The Birds" I had a horrible nightmare about spiders last night and seriously couldn't sleep - even thinking about it makes me itchy. I'm totally freaked out. I think the strangly warm weather has forced them 'out'. We don't currently use the basement other than the washer/dryer and keep it pretty cool as a result... but this weekend was the exception - 65 degrees! I called a few exterminators and they require $200 and only guarantee it for 3 months I found this on Raid's website: http://www.killsbugsdead.com/fop_fum.asp Do you think this will work? I'm terrified of my basement and I hate that... Jen Arianna Frances
  11. I'm so sorry you are hurting Normally I stay away from threads about people putting down animals for reasons other than medical, but I felt the need to reply. My fathers very best friend (for 35 years now ) had a dog (don't remember the breed) for 7 years - hand fed/raised him and everything. He had some sensory problems (as a result of a traumatic birth??) that resulted in him kinda 'going nuts' when he was over stimulated by play or excitement. But they managed to avoid situations that would make him 'go nuts'. Until their 2 year old grandson was over and the dog 'went nuts', bit him in neck, puncturing a major artery which ended with the little boy becoming mentally handicapped. They have never lived down that they are responisble for their grandsons handicap and it was a situation that they had full control over - they knew the dog had a tendency to 'go nuts' and didn't do anything. I am glad, despite the grim ending, that you family is opting to protect themselves/others. Its not always easy for people outside of your situation to really empathize. And for those of you saying - if a reality TV show can do it.. blah blah (I mean really people ), the animals are hand picked ahead of time and judged on 'reahbilitativeness' before they are included - wouldn't want an animal that couldn't be rehabed on that show, that wouldn't look good for ratings, now would it? 12. As a waiter or waitress you are supposed to report your tips to the IRS (I never did) so their hourly wage is less because tips are SUPPOSED to make up for it. As a waitress, gosh, more than 10 years ago now I made $1.85/hr. and the tips sucked. Jen Arianna Frances
  13. Thats my thought to. Would you tip a McDs employee? Then why would you tip Sonic -they do the same work and get the same pay. Plus, they knew taking the order out to the car was a job requirement prior to working there (or at least I would hope so!), so if you don't like it, don't work there - and certainly don't expect a 'tip' for it. Jen ...I got your tip right here... Arianna Frances
  14. Someone just told me that they always tip the gal/guy that brings your order to your car. I had no idea you had to do that... Do you tip in fast food? Jen Arianna Frances
  15. Dude, I told you earlier this year to get a Zen... why are you second guessing? Seriously... its a far superior product! Like Jay, I think I've owned them all too and the Zen is top of the line. Ipods get stolen at my gym more often than the other players, simply because Ipod is all the rage right now and due to their marketing campaign, are easy to spot. Do you homework, read what Jay wrote, and get a Zen... you will NOT be disappointed, seriously. Jen Arianna Frances
  16. hahaha... you said turkey Jen Arianna Frances
  17. hehe Mar is um, unable to type for a while... I'm sure she'll come on and tell everybody about it soon enough Arianna Frances

What? Nobody likes H? Ya for lactating! Jen Arianna Frances
  20. 45 min. its insane. I could see perhaps justifying it if it was an actual gym, but its not. They only have 4 pieces of cardio equipment and its in front of a HUGE windows so the entire outside world can see you Personally when I was close to the other gym I was there every day to do SOME form of cardio stuff - and did my 'routine' 3 days of the week. This place you can't go into unless its your appointment - not too keen on that Jen Arianna Frances
  21. hahaha - thats funny Good for you, most definitely not good for everyone - I know, I've tried. Arianna Frances
  22. Not a rehab facility... and only 4 pieces of cardio equipment. Definitely NOT a gym, which I like... but its WAY too much money. $170 is cheap considering my trainer is $40/hr. once a week... I only pay $10/month for my gym membership. The Y is looking better and better... Arianna Frances
  23. 36 sessions or 3 times a week for 3 months... I'm still in shock here.... wow Arianna Frances
  24. So I'm shopping around for a new personal trainer/gym as my current one is too far away now that we've moved. I pay $170/month which is pretty cheap. Found a new place near the house so I decided to stop by at lunch time and take a tour. http://www.fitnesstogether.com/ Really nice, small facility. Private training suites, free water/fruit - nice clean showers. Plus, I really like the guy. Sit down in his office and talk money. Took everything to not laugh at him. Only $2,679.01... for 3 months?! IS HE FREAKIN' KIDDING?? The only people who can afford that must have half of the fee paid by their work or something, cause thats just ridiculous! YMCA, here I come Jen Arianna Frances
