I hate to go to the dentist , but do it every six month. The secret is to floss regularly, then they don't have to spend much time on cleaning. Know this post has gotten to joking, but seriously, if you floss regularly you will have a less painful experience in the dental chair when it comes to cleaning. And you will keep your teeth. I'm 53 and have all my teeth. Know people my age who have lost their teeth due to neglect. So floss and see the dentist every 6 mos! Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I love to skydive. Everybody knows that about me, but what a lot of people don't realize is that I'm 53 years old. People usually think I'm, in my 30's. But I'm not, I'm 53 and proud of it. I agree with the other posters. Wait until you are healed to jump. You will be glad you did. If you still have problems with allergies/hay fever I recommend taking sudefed whenever you jump. I tend to have sinus/allergy problems so I just take sudafed on the days I jump and I'm fine. Good luck!

I don't eat hamburgers often, but was in the mood for one recently. I buy the 4% ground beef at Trader Joes. I was looking in the frozen food section thinking I may buy buffalo burgers instead of beef ( I think less fat) but I also looked at their extroidanary burgers. Sounded really good - garganzola cheese, bacon - but it had like 50 grams of fat! I bought the 4% ground beef and added seasoned salt and chopped onion (no extra fat). Still really good but I didn't have to feel guilty

I used to snowboard before I became obsessed with skydiving, and yeah, I would notice that. That is one of the many nice things about skydiving, is that you have to be at least 18 to do it so you don't have to deal with the kids like you do with snowboarding

I haven't done much 10 way speed, but will be doing 10 way speed competition next weekend. It's just a fun jump thing, but still, I want to perform well. Can anyone offer advice for 10 way speed competition. Thanks. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I'm going to attend the Lost Prarie Boogie this year for the first time. Know this is way in advance, but I just planned it and I'm so excited about it and well, that's just me, like to plan things well ahead, so wanted to make friends with Montana people prior to the boogie so I'll have people to jump with/hang out with (I'm coming solo and I'm very shy). So post here or PM me if you jump at Skydive Lost Prarie and would be willing to do some RW jumps with me while I'm there. I plan to be there 7/29 - 8/3. Thanks! Wendy I can totally relate. One day my daughter and I were having lunch and she says to me "so dads on the viagra stuff" I said "yeah, how did you know?" She said " he left it on the counter" I said "yeah, and it works really well". She said "eeeewwww, I was hoping you were going to say someone gave it to him as a joke". Kids, gotta love em.

I am small and really happy that I am cuz when they get to be older they can't go too far

All I can say is that I had met him before, several times, but didn't realize he was sudsyfist. My whole perspective changed.

Don't know how I did it, but my thumbs are both black and blue and swollen. It happened during a tube exit, I was holding on really tight, but it funneled. Went to plan B and turned points till breakoff. Didn't realize my thumbs were injured until I went to unstow my breaks. So sorry to hear that. But guess it happens a lot. Just heard today that an architect (40 ish) that was involved with our projects died in his sleep, had some kind of heart problem that he didn't know he had. My husband called me at work today to tell me about this. Told him I was happy the house burned down. He said he called me because it reminded him of the burning bunnies at Eloy. Told him that was not the same since they didn't know the bunnies were in there. He agreed, but said that was why he thought to tell me about it, that the bunnies could have hopped into the tunnel. Hey everybody, thanks for your input. I'm sorry if I sounded like I was putting my teammate down, not at all. I love all my teammates, was just kind of wondering if I should maybe say something to him or just let it go. And I think it was more me being overly sensitive. He wasn't being mean at all, just agreed with me when I said that I was drifting out, then said yeah you were doing that last week too. Just constructive criticism, but it made me feel bad that he agreed with me, especially since this is the team member I really look up to. Anyway, am happy to report that team training jumps yesterday went really well and we were all happy

I think it would be safe to say that most skydivers are addicted to skydiving. Sure it's a sport, hobby, for some a job, but I think for most of us it's also an addiction. So just wondering if skydivers are more likely than others to be addicted to other things as well. So what do you think? What else are you addicted to besides skydiving? My number one addiction is skydiving, but I'm also addicted to chocolate and working out. If I could just get over my chocolate addiction my workouts would be much more productive - but at least they balance out . Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller
