My daughter used to date a guy who was on a sitcom, something with a bigfoot character and he lived with the family. Don't remember the name of the show He was the nicest guy. He's adorable. My parents had a border collie and she was really smart too. Our best dog was a lab. He wasn't very bright, but he was the sweetest dog ever. Now we have a doxen/pomeranian mix. He's a rescue dog and likes to run away. We've had him to obedience school but haven't been able to cure him of running away any chance he gets. He's okay, but our lab was my favorite. I knew I was hungry when I started thinking about sushi, but now I'm really craving sushi. Wonder where I can find a 24 hour sushi bar? Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I could live on sushi. Actually tried a sushi diet once but after the first week it got too expensive. So what's your favorite? What kind of different sushi have you tried? There is a place I go where they have white tuna. It's pure white and doesn't taste like regular tuna. Really rich and very yummy. Does anybody like uni? My hubby and I like to end our sushi meal with a combo uni/salmon egg wrapped in seaweed with a quail egg on top. There is one sushi bar we go to where they have an aquarium with shrimp and when you order sweet shrimp they catch them from the aquarium and give them to the sushi chef. One day I was having lunch with my son and we ordered sweet shrimp and the sushi chef got distracted and one of the shrimps jumped out of the bowl, into my miso soup, then onto my lap then onto the floor. I screamed cuz it was a shock to have this shrimp in my soup and on my lap. The staff just kind of laughed and picked it up off the floor and handed it to the sushi chef. I usually felt kind of bad eating them after seeing them alive inthe aquarium but not this one. There is a sushi bar we go to that has all kinds of unique things, like sushi nachos - kind of a spicy tuna with a sauce and you scoop it up with fried wontons in the shape of chips. Every Friday I go for sushi with the guys from work. The place we go has really good sushi and it's half price, but we have to contend with the "sushi nazi". One of the guys named him that after the Seinfeld soup nazi. He is the most unfriendly sushi chef. Sorry this is so long, but I get really excited when I think about sushi. I wonder if there are any dropzones with sushi bars. That would be awesome!! Let me know if you find one. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

Yeah, know how you feel. I had a hard time forcing myself to get unstable. When I was going for my B license since I didn't have enough RW jumps I decided to do the other requirement which was flips, barrel rolls and stuff. It took me like 3 times to finally do it. I'd exit intending to do the stuff and then end up just bellyflying. I finally did it and it was easy. I'm the kind of person who has to think about everything, but I've found that getting stable I don't have to think about, it just comes naturally. So definately listen to your instructors, but don't worry so much about getting stable, you'll just do it. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I didn't realize there were awards until this weekend when I was on a 4 point 8 way. Since it was only my 2nd 8 way and the last one fell apart at the beginning I was really excited and telling all my friends and they told me there was an award I could send in for. I may send in for it just cuz for me it was a really big accomplishment since I'm still so new to the sport. Maybe when I've been around longer it won't seem like such a big deal, but now every new accomplishment is a big deal. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

At least, that is our story...and we're sticking to it!!! I've flown with Dom twice in the tunnel and he has yet to grab my ass. Glad I could provide some entertainment. I've got something even funnier. We were dirt diving a jump and at one point I had to take a leg grip of another skydiver and I was looking at the grip before taking it, so the LO said "no, look at me, his grip will be there and you just reach down and take it". So we went through it again and I didn't look this time just reached for his grip, but was reaching for his front leg instead of his back leg and didn't feel the grip so ran my hand up his leg and found something else. Everyone started laughing and the LO said "okay, maybe you should look at the grip out of the corner of your eye". The guy whose grip I was supposed to take just had this funny smirk on his face and said "can we try that part again?" Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I just know that I saw it and I wasn't there Saturday evening so what I saw had to happen on Sunday. Yeah, I know our memory goes as we get older, but don't let Dom tell you your're losin it if you aren't. There will be plenty of time for that later. Laurie, I want some of what ever time altering drug you have. This happened on Saturday night. Did you sleep a whole day away? Dom, Perhaps you're right, Dom. Sorry. Weekend days might seem to flow together. Whatever day it was, this happened over in the north packing area....ya know, where the freefliers usually pack. Lori I think Lori might be right because I saw the altercation and I left early on Saturday , like 3:30, but I was there later on Sunday. I think it was Sunday. I don't have to drunk dial anymore, just easier to drunk post, and you can go back the next day and see what you said. But can be embarassing, like if you post on a vagina thread. LOL. That's very cool that your mom did a tandem at 53. Now you've just gotta get her to go through AFF. I did my first jump (a tandem) for my 50th birthday.
