  1. I just wanted to say Thank you for your honesty.

i am so sick of people on here who see things as black or white because the truth is too complicated.

I just respect that you did what you did and didn't have to turn it in too a Clint Eastwood movie in your head or when you bring it up.

My experience most people who have experienced war by that i mean bullets being shot at you actual combat tend to see things in the right shades of gray and not so cut and dry.

We need more of that in SC more people who are honest about there experience and not committed to a side. :)

  2. yea i am with you! what is always the most frustrating is when everyone else doesn't seem to have the same reaction of..WTF this person is insane!

I always think they must know their full of shit...right..its even more frightening if they don't i guess.

  3. Thank you! now if someone could post the real news sites!?, as in unbiased not supported by one interest group or another i would really appreciate that..................:|

    >So you are saying that everyone here with their own self protection hand gun
    >will be shot by it?

Nope. Just that their odds of being shot went up significantly when they bought that gun.

But better to be carried by six than judged by twelve.

This way of thinking to me is always just crazy, My chances of falling off a bike increase when i buy a bike, the chances of me cutting my self with a knife increase when i bring a knife in to the house, and the chances of me getting in to a car accident while driving increase when i start to drive etc etc etc forever.

I agree with your other post, yes i would like to reduce gun violence yet not restrict lawful gun owners, the problem is there is no mechanism to do such a thing. So the option is do we take away rights for the Illusion of safety?

My answer is no, I will not give up freedom for safety i already feel like that pendulum has goon too far.

Another point that always gets dropped, yes i am worried about crazy people how ever i am more worried about tyranny just because it hasn't happened in your life time doesn't mean it will never happen.

not to mention such things have happened, the government will come and get you and kill you and your kids if they want. They have done it in the past not that long ago.

  5. ill say it and say it again.

It is not a problem of guns its a problem of killers, we have an extremely narcissistic culture and it is getting worst.

No one thinks anything but ME ME ME.

Shit kids, shit parents, shit system makes shit people. There are places where they have more guns per capita and no where near the deaths.

    COMPLY OR DIE.....

Yup there is some great respect for civil and human rights and our constitution that so many officers seem to be wiping their asses with

Holy shit Right!! all this time i thought this was America and we had rights. Guess we were wrong, in whose book are you the ass hole if you grab the stick you are being hit with?

Every time i see a cop act like a politician making excuses the standard bull shit line i lose more respect.

If your a cop you should be more pissed then anyone in the public, and should voice that. When you form your BLUE BROTHERHOOD you lose your integrity. You lose integrity you lose respect.

I understand EVERYONE understands there are some bad apples but when you protect your bad apples you become the same.
Every Police Department that has been caught, This is going back to the 80s the police lie and try to hide the truth. When they are convicted (when there is video that they can't destroy) they typically get a slap on the wrist.

If this is not fixed it will be bad for everyone.

I sure would love to see all the folk so critical go work as a cop and show us how to do it right!!!!

I am sorry but so sick of this line of bull shit as an excuse for horrible behavior.

Is this Communist Russia? did someone assign you to be a cop?
If you can not do a job right, you don't get to do it shitty and say would like to see you do it.

Also a shitty job for a cop doesn't mean i get my sandwich with mayo i didn't order it means people get wrongfully killed, imprisoned, embarrassed, lives destroyed.

  8. WTF is wrong with US cops?

Simple answer they have no actual checks and balances and have goon unchecked for decades.

This is not a new problem its just with cameras everywhere now White people get to see all those minorities weren't lairs all those years. Funny how so many things are like that.

The 2nd biggest problem the brotherhood mentality, if you cover up for your "brothers in Blue" you are no longer there to serve me and the public who you work for, you are now a gang member and deserve the same respect.

The major reason it is the way it is is the Cops and the system for allowing them to do horrific after horrific act and get away with it.

It has become us vs them because that's what they have created.

Just do a quick search of cops committing crimes killing people and then look at the punishment. Its not hard to understand why people are sick of cops.

More Americans civilians are killed by cops a year then terrorist.

The 3rd biggest issue is the public, We have a retarded bunch that in their minds some things are not allowed to be honestly criticized, Some things are holy to them, troops, teachers, cops, etc... So you can never actually have a mature discussion to make things better.

  9. In my eyes it was justified action.

One they attacked us This is the most important one to me, a reason lacking in many of our other wars

Two they were willing to die literally jump of cliffs other then surrender

Three they had a fascist view where the only true world was a Japanese world. You cant argue logic with any group of people who think they are better then others and are willing to kill for it.

  10. i never understand the mob mentality most suffer from.

The guy is a douche agreed, all trophy hunters are to me per my opinion, HOWEVER i don't believe we should kill the guy, and ruin his life because of it.

Does anyone have a measured response anymore!?

I happily waist fuel a resource people die for, wars start over, fucking children die! so i can jump out of an air plane at a reasonable rate, maybe this guy likes killing lions as much as i like jumping. Oh and if you think our easily attainable access to resources doesn't cost Humane and other lives let me know when you graduate kindergarten.
Yea the guy is an ass but i think the sheep need to settle down just a bit. YOU do not know this guy enough to justify the hate you are showing which makes you look like stupid children.

So many of you bring up the word NEED, how many of you use things that you don't need to make your life easier, more enjoyable, or just for the fuck if it? Any one use i don;t know technology???? We all leave a foot print some are more clear like his on the lions face, but we all leave a foot print and it all causes death and suffering for other people, animals, the earth, or all, that's the way nature likes it.

Again not saying this guys is not an ass, just saying gray people gray your always so black and white put down the torches.

The world was a much better place With Sadam Hussein in it.

This Memeorial day is going to be particularly hard, keeping in mind that we gave 4,000 lives for... ?

for the war machine and war ind., Halliburton, and eventually so they will say would you like fries with that? in parts of the world that do not like the western culture.

You want to stop that from happening? don't line up like sheep at the treat of being called a traitor! or because you are ignorant. Do not let nationalism and patriotism be used to make you their sheep.

If that's the absolute best you've got, then your retort was a complete and total failure. Thank you come again...or in this case just go away with your tail between your legs.

What is the point of your post if not stupid hate and fear mongering? There are plenty of academic articles discussing Islams influence on culture, yet you post the most vile stupid thing available.

You are either too lazy or lack the intellectual capacity to discuss this issue in an intelligent manner.

    Hence my reply.

I think not generalizing and trying to see the whole picture not just the black and white simple one is difficult, or uncomfortable for most.

Most right wing Christians think of the US as a christian nation, we kill, spill more blood, and start more unnecessary wars then ANY ONE, but yet the blind are still blind.

Those are facts historical facts, so how do you reach people who cant understand simple historical facts? you don't you just put them in column R and hope they don't download there limited ideas to another human.

The crazy thing is they are so much more like the very people they hate then they ever can realize. Extreme illogical, hate mongering, and xenophobic now if we could add greedy to that list you basically have whats the main issue with humanity and all dick heads.

Islam Is a religion, a way to motivate, some good some bad no different then any way of belief one might choose to believe. Some use Jesus for inspiration to help the poor help the weak, some who claim the same inspiration to kill people. I always blame the individuals. and i think that's the correct way to be.

Netanyahu Assures Critics He Still Has Utmost Respect For U.S. Money

WASHINGTON—In a concerted effort to ease growing tensions between the two nations, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured his critics Monday that he still has the utmost respect for U.S. money. “Relations between our two countries have at times been strained, but I promise you all that the entire Israeli government, myself included, still holds a high opinion of the United States’ cash,” said Netanyahu, emphasizing that his speech to Congress was not intended to show any disrespect for American funding whatsoever. “I appreciate everything U.S. money has done for Israel. Though we come at this issue from different perspectives, I have no doubt that we can overcome this disagreement and maintain positive relations between Israel and U.S. economic aid, as we always have.” Netanyahu added that he also maintained great respect for the U.S. military’s weapons.

Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Tuesday he is "very concerned" about reports that Iran and Shiite militias are taking over the fight against Islamic State militants in Iraq and potentially fueling sectarian strife in that nation.

Carter, testifying on Capitol Hill for the first time since he started his job in early February, responded to questions about reports that the U.S. military is sitting on the sidelines as the Iraqis launch a major operation in Tikrit, an important Sunni Arab city north of Baghdad that is controlled by the group known as the Islamic State or ISIL.

Instead, Iran is providing open military support to the Iraqi army. Reports suggest Iranian military officers, Iranian-backed Shiite militias and Iranian artillery units are operating on the ground alongside Iraqi regular army forces.

"Are you concerned that Iran has basically taken over the fight?" Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., asked during a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

"I am looking at it with great concern," Carter said.

"Our approach to combating ISIL in Iraq is to work with the Iraqi security forces and a multisectarian government that takes a multisectarian approach to defeating ISIL," he said. "Sectarianism is what brought us to the point where we are, and so I do look at it with concern. We are watching it very closely."

Photos emerged Monday on social media showing Iranian Quds Force commander Gen. Qasem Soleimani in Iraq, directing Shiite militias in their fight against IS militants.

The total fighting force of Iranian-backed militias and Iraqi regular forces was estimated at up to 30,000, making it the largest operation in Iraq since the U.S. sent more troops to Iraq and began airstrikes last year.

About two-thirds of the force assembled in Tikrit is comprised of Shiite militiamen, said Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The U.S. military typically considers Iran an adversary, but their two militaries share the same goal in Iraq — the defeat of the Sunni Islamic extremists who have seized large parts of western and northern Iraq.

U.S. officials are cautiously hopeful that the Iranians and Shiites can help Iraqi forces expel the ISIL militants from Tikrit. But U.S. officials also worry that involvement of Iranians and Shiite militias in a major battle for a Sunni city could inflame the sectarian tensions that IS militants exploit for political support.

Dempsey told lawmakers Tuesday that the Tikrit operation may signal a new level of direct Iranian involvement in Iraq.

"Iran and its proxies have been inside Iraq since 2004," Dempsey told the senators. "This is the most overt conduct of Iranian support in the form of artillery and other things. Frankly, it will only be a problem if it results in sectarianism."

Carter said he has heard reports that some Sunni tribal leaders have signaled support for the military operation by the mostly Shiite force. "If that's true, it is good news because it suggests that it is not purely a Shia-on-Sunni thing," Carter said.

A spokesman for U.S. Central Command, Army Maj. Curtis Kellogg, said Monday: "U.S. assistance has not been requested for this operation."

About 2,700 U.S. troops are now in Iraq, most of them providing training and assistance to Iraqi security forces.

I don't get this. Shouldn't we be happy?

  15. Whenever Netanyahu's start criticizing any country i want to tell him this.

you do realize Israel has not only threatened countries in the region repeatedly, but has also acted, is currently occupying/expanding illegal stolen land. BTW this is not according to all the Jew haters but according to the UN and international law.

you do know that Israel has signed no nuclear deal EVER and has nuclear weapons right?

honestly he wasn't what really was getting to me at all douchebags gonna douch ? he was......as expected.

However embarrassed for the republicans and dems who supported this bull shit. How dare you bring this an outsider a politicized one to show the world you hate your president.

you never bring a stranger to family dispute. unfortunately now this sets precedents. i like to think that the dems would have more class to not do such a move (to a future republican president) but they wont.
I really did not like that at all. Keep that shit in house

I agree, and I would like to add I am not war mongering

I hate war too, however this is a time to war monger, i have been against every war we have gotten in too. This is justification for extermination.

Any time any group says we are going to kill you just because you are different and acts the conversation ends.

This is black and white as it gets.

“He made everyone feel uncomfortable and unsafe,’’ Maness said Wednesday, speaking outside Hick’s upstairs apartment, which backs up to an adjoining apartment where two of the shooting victims lived. Flowers had been left on the lawn in front of the building.

Residents of Finley Forest apartments in Chapel Hill had been so alarmed by Hicks’ rants that they called a community meeting last year, Maness said. Residents shared stories about being confronted by Hicks, but no one mentioned the meeting to Hicks and nothing came of it, she said.

Maness said she never heard Hicks refer to anyone’s religion or race.

“He had equal opportunity anger toward all the residents," she said.

  18. Yea i get what Andy is saying bro, he is on point.

My point is if it was reversed "Muslim kills family of atheist" and if at anytime he had stated he hated none believers and infidels(even on myspace;)) this would be a different story to many and they would react in a much different manner.

Whoever thinks this is just an asshole is right.
I will stand by my point, if the names were reversed this thread would have a lot more people having there usual circle jerks of hate and racism.

  19. I am just waiting for the same guys who always blame ALL Muslims or Islam to jump on and talk about how the lack of belief must have been the key.

I'll be expecting a few posts and new threads about how a lack of belief leads to violence.
