  1. I love Eli! and am happy to share the same last name, but he was not my soulmate. Didn't think about that possible confusion. I'm married to Richard Thompson. Prayers for Eli's wife Sarah and three sweet little angels.
  2. Husband, Father, Son, Friend, Hero...
  3. Sally. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It was always a pleasure to run into you and Charlie. Both of you always greeted us with such a kind, sweet spirit and friendly disposition. I hope you will be encouraged by friends and family, as I'm sure you will greatly miss Charlie. I will tell Annie & Rosalyn. You will be in our thoughts. Love, Olivia

    Crocs shoes

The AXLE CROC recently became my husband's favorite shoe. Winter and Desert Camo colors. Looks good and seems to be light, comfortable and form fitting. Three of his friends tried it on and immediately ordered a pair. He originally got it to wear while boating/fishing/diving but it seems to be a great shoe for a lot of situations. Here's the link, but you can buy them from other websites. The AXLEs were sold out and backordered during the holidays. http://shop.crocs.com/pc-431-4-axle.aspx?reqid=431&reqProdTypeId=41p&subsectionname=footwear§ion=products
  6. Hi Scott! I just logged on & searched for Perry. He has been so difficult to contact... since last May or so. I hope he's doing okay. Maybe he's in Wisconsin? We'll see.
  7. Hello Jaime, You would probably remember me if we met in person. I know your brother John pretty well and have seen you at the Richmond boogies. You wrote a beautiful letter. Full of honor to your mother. The respect & admiration you have for her shines clear. I'm sure she loved you dearly. Your letter made me think of my mother, who I love so much. I look up to her & hope to retain the qualities she has. I hope that I would grow and become a symbol of her strength for my brothers & sister to look to for encouragement if we should ever lose her. Your mother's legacy can live through you & your life. You can be the symbol & rock for your family to turn too. The skydiving community can enjoy the things your mother created, and you can keep the dream alive! Best Wishes & Blue Skies to you & your family, Olivia
  8. Thanks Bonnie. Wish I could be there. It's been some time since I last saw Wyatt. I only have good thoughts & memories of him. Really nice guy! How awful to loose him.
  9. One website that really seems to cover in detail the ins & outs of Catholic belief is http://www.justforcatholics.org/answers.htm It's composed by this guy - http://www.justforcatholics.org/about.htm who said "I was brought up in a devout Catholic family. I thank God for my parents and my Catholic teachers who taught me the fear of the Lord as best as they knew how." I don't really think that it matters what you're called, but I would think that a "true Christian" would be someone who completely trusts in Christ and Christ alone for salvation. Good post buddy. Good questions. I don't think people should fight either. Especially since one person can't convince another peson of something against their will.
  10. Sounds like fun! I can't wait to get in the air at DeLand again and what a good day to be there! An outdoor bar is a great idea since the Perfect Spot is completely busy at times.
  11. Well, it's happening. Definitely a start to no privacy. I just entered my friend's cell # (who is traveling) in this website. I almost posted this in the Speakers Corner, but here it is... http://www.sat-gps-locate.com/
  12. Wow! She's an inspiration! All the good family and travel pics are great too...
  13. Cool ocean shot... Honey will travel.
  14. That's adorable... Definitely qualifies as a honey, buddy!
  15. Cool photo! Thanks for posting it. I've always wanted to do that! One day, maybe.
  16. I stayed warm last night as we watched the women's snowboard super half-pipe finals. I'm emailing out our photos and thought I'd post some here. All the girl riders were super talented. A few of them super young too... like 16/17. Gretchen Bleiler is beautiful, friendly, and a great rider. She had an entire group of family and friends there to cheer her. I actually rode the half pipe last year, or should I say, "slid down". It's fun and a good experience. http://expn.go.com/expn/story?pageName=wx11_results_snbpipew
  17. I always thought 26 would be a reasonable age for a girl/women to get married. I ended up getting married at 25. It's good. Unbelievably enough, all my childhood friends have been married for years and have several children. I was the last of them to get married... No rush. We plan to enjoy our first year of married life before we consider children. I think there's an ideal situation... but even though a situation is not ideal; it does not mean that it's a "deal breaker".
  18. It was a well made movie for sure. I knew it was going to be graphic. I thought maybe I could "close my eyes" for a sec if I wanted to, but it was graphic from start to finish. Except for the first, two scenes, the entire movie was negative & depressing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Go see "The Holiday" or something lighthearted.
  19. How can you, me, or anyone else fully explain God? He didn't give us a manual describing every detail or reason for His ways... Unusual things that we may not ever comprehend in this lifetime, but He does. He revealed what He chose to for a purpose. He could have revealed more. Even if you had a categorized, numbered manual direct from God Himself, would it make a difference whether you want Him in your life or not? On a side note... Often when a person bets on something, they're a bystander watching a competition, such as horse racing. Regardless, I don't have to write an exposition for a competition to believe whether it's true or not. It's Friday night! C-ya...maybe. I may have someone change my password because posting can be addicting, and I rather keep my dropzone.com membership for skydiving. Although, it's cool that the Speaker's Corner is here... Thanks everyone for the conversation.
  20. My pastor happens to be leading us through a study of Matthew. We just got to the resurrection. In our study, he's compared all four gospels. I'll tell you, his messages and explanations are complete & in depth. He's a pastor who is older, takes care of his wife, and dedicates all his time to studying the Bible. He thinks and prays about each verse way more than any of us would. He studies the customs of the time and everything. I would like to make his messages available online. Anyway, I bet he could win that award. If anyone could. You know, it's hard to push through to a honest conclusion when you hear constant harrasment againt the subject in focus. I believe that Satan doesn't want anyone to believe in Christ's resurrection.
  21. I'm back again to clarify something. I received a private message, which was friendly enough, but it seemed to imply that I was Catholic, which I'm not. Perhaps that's because I posted a link to the Vatican. The only reason I did that was to be fair but also to show that there is a difference of belief. If you read the Bible in detail without taking verses out of context or basing a major doctrine on one verse, you'll find a difference between the Catechism and the Bible. Especially if you read Romans 1 to 8. Actually, you could listen to Romans 1-8 at http://www.audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html Also, the Bible is not irrelevant for our time. The Bible is complete to the end. What's written in the book of Revelations is about to come true. You might say that Revelations is too hard to understand, but it says over and over again, "to him that hath understanding, let him hear". For those of you that are interested, an easier way to look at the Bible is through the study of Dispensations. I found a pretty good site for it at http://www.e-grace.net/webgrace/dispensa.html
  22. Thank you. It's 45 days away. October 20th. Peace out. Blue Skies.
