Sorry you didn't read the facts in the attached .pdf. In the last few years there has been a continued push by environmental advocacy groups (and the media) to tie specific events, especially extreme events, such as flooding, hurricanes etc., to large-scale global warming. However, the amount of actual warming in the deep at- mosphere, where these weather events are generated, is not rising at a rapid pace. In fact, observations continue to show considerably less warming than all theoretical global climate models used in AR6 available as of its release in 2021. For example, Figure 26 compares the tropical temperature trends at various altitudes for the models (hypotheses) used in AR6 and actual observations, demonstrating the overheating which characterizes the models (for more details see Christy and McNider 2017, McKitrick and Christy 2020 and Mitchell et al.1 Still love ya Bill!

Climate changes. It always has. That the crisis is caused by, or can be controlled by humans, is a scam. Don't be scammed. Do some serious research, especially non-climate scientists. https://www.nsstc.uah.edu/aosc/climatechangePDF/AlabamaClimatePracticalGuide2.pdf

Friday, Mar 12, 2021, Steve Haley was laid to rest in Tracy, California. This hero of early and current CRW died after a fall in his bathroom. Sad to say good bye. Mike E. CCS-3.

Sad news indeed. Jenny was a wonderful woman, mother and a great skydiver. I've owned and jumped many Zute Sutes, including the one she made me for the 400 way. I will fondly think of Jenny each time I slip on my suit.

Remove the ???'s and put in Lynn Fogelman. The moment I read your reply, it flashed back. Whoa!

Nothing much more fun than leaving last on a 40 way in one DC3. What a fun time.

What a great guy. Ron has a lengthy list of skydiving accomplishments, and a longer list of friends who will miss him. Blue skies brother...

The blast handle wasn't really that bad. You just had to pull it 'straight' off the cable housing. You're right the plastic handles we're NOT a great development. There were lots of great ideas that weren't really practical. Mike

From the team roster in the mag: one of Anthony DeGregory, Gordon Robinson, Lynn Fogelman I don't know the first two. It could be Lynn. . Yes! Lynn Fogelman. You are correct. We did jump with DeGregory and Robinson but clearly they weren't there for the photo that day. How do you access old magazines? On line somewhere, or do you just have a large pile? Mike D-5870

Hey Jan. That (front row far right) is actually NOT Hod Sanders. It IS the only one who's name still escapes me. it'll pop into my head at the weirdest moment. He does resemble Hod at that time... young! The others are from back left Jerry Meyers, John Donavan, Porter Turpin, Terry Scott, Dennis Murphy, (front row) Dave Rudolf, Howie "Funk" Steimetz, ME, Paul Castro and ???. Photo was taken in Pope Valley shortly before heading to the Nationals at Talequah, OK for 10-man competition. Photographer? I don't think this was ever published. I should mention that back in those days sponsored meant you could buy equipment at a discount. Mike

Hey Hoop! I loved the time we spent in Z-Hills. Great times! Training & competing was cool. I remember most of those times with a smile. But one year some of us showed up for the 10 man meet at Thanksgiving. 1979 or so? I DON'T remember most of that, also with a smile. Great times. Cheers...

Pretty cool pictures. Love the front of the "Lodge" with the sign. Almost teared up at that sight. Love the old days. Miss parts of 'em. The last photo with people standing around under the clouds.... I see Doug Chandler on the right in blue plaid shirt. Seems to be reading something. Probably talking to Mary. Just to the viewer's left of Doug is Ron Ardizonne looking towards the motel. Ron is talking with (???), shit. I'll remember tomorrow. The guy with his back to the camera in the two tone brown vest sure could be Ken Hilsey, but can't be sure. I also recognize the ass of the girl to the left in the red shirt. You never forget a nice butt. That round fuzzy head of hair next to the butt, could be ME! I've still got a box of 30 or 40 t-shirts from those days. Maybe I'll take some pictures, of 'em. I didn't seem to know the guys in the exit shot. Looks like it started nice an tight but all that 'Z-ing out' sure slows down the first point. Might only have been one point planned.
