I enlisted (after a 15 year break from reg. army) into the Florida National Gaurd, as a Parachute Rigger, so in a couple of months, i'm off to Airborne School, then to Riggers School, HALO School. After i join up with my team with the 3bn/ 20th Special Forces Group then its off to sunny (classified) Will send up dates, pic's, and if i can get any headdown time with a static line,.... I'm not realy sure were to begin,...there are so many fun times and skydives i can recall with Ron over the years. They all seem to flash back to me in the past few days.... I guess the one thing that stands out to me is Ron was one of the truest friends a person could have, and many of us here at Zhills feel blessed to have known him. He was always there for you, & he always enjoyed to help others. I cant say i ever saw him land from a jump and not be smiling. I met Sara years ago when she came down to Zhills with the Cross Keys crew. She was full of energy and a never was seen without a smile on her face. We met again this past January, and talked for an hour or more about her travels and how far she had came in the sport. It made me happy to see her so involved and still smiling. Thanks to all those who traveled to Zhills for the state record attempt! We didnt quit get the 27 way, but we all learned alot and had fun doing it! I think (have to count heads) we got 21 docked on the formation. We had a great 6 way base that was rock solid for every jump, and lots of skilled fliers building the pods, and i'm not forgeting you stingers! Great job!
