Ron, you replied to this: "Q and QAnon are proven nonsense, Trump is not returning to save you and yet you still cling to the belief." Have you finally realized you were duped?

Following Q was an attractive mystery that held my attention for about two years thanks to Ryoder. I quoted Q posts to see if others here had the motivation to attempt decodes. It didn't happen. I followed the analyzations of Q from three main websites seeking observable agreement between them. I did not follow QAnon posts even though admittedly I was a QAnon by definition.

BTW, the sex trafficking was started and maintained by the QAnons, Q did not address it. We all know it exists. For more information check out Operation Underground Railroad.

Q helped organize the supporters for President Trump. I did and still do support President Trump. It was a fascinating, engaging concept and movement. It may come back and I will be there if it does. And no, I don't have a costume.

No Ron, it depends on being open to what you may find. I want to know what is true regardless of what I now believe. You seek what you want to believe. Q and QAnon are proven nonsense, Trump is not returning to save you and yet you still cling to the belief. You are wired to believe. It's as simple as that.

    No disagreement from me there.

There are better history books than the bible, Ron.

It depends on what you are looking for.

It seems like only yesterday that Trump supporters were trumpeting Qanon's nutso conspiracy theories.  One was that democrats were running some kind of pedophilic sex ring from the basement of a pizza parlor.  And Trump supporters lapped that up.

How ironic is it that recently we found out about an actual ongoing investigation into a pedophilia sex ring, involving trafficking of underage girls - and it's not coming from the basement of a pizza place, it's happening in Florida, paid for by a GOP congressman?

And he's not even denying it; now the meme is "it's not REALLY sex trafficking with children!  It's more like having a sugar daddy.  And she was definitely 18!"

    https://reason.com/2021/04/02/matt-gaetz-story-shifts-from-child-sex-trafficking-to-consorting-with-sugar-babies/

And now Q is DEFENDING sex trafficking.

    https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/qanon-matt-gaetz-sex-trafficking-investigation-1149484/

How does it feel to be on the side of pedophilia and sex trafficking?

If you had followed Q and not just QAnon posts you would have a much better understanding.

Sex trafficking exists and it is found in all levels of government in all nations. We live in Luciferian times of outrageous sinful behavior.

  5. In the past week I have discussed Covid-19 treatment with two physicians. Both have confirmed that Hydroxychlorquine and Ivermectin show significant benefit toward curing the disease. They both agree that this virus has political factors overriding sound medical best practice.

This is why I'm going to find death really annoying - I don't get to see all the cool shit yet to come.

If you change your life philosophy you might get to see it while it is being created. I will.

So, have the scales fallen from your eyes?

    No!

After 6 Jan 2021 I realized that the Luciferians have tremendous power. I thought we could postpone the inevitable fulfilling of prophecy for a little while longer. That is not the case. Jesus is coming. It looks like it my be in my lifetime. I hope so. Keep a close watch on Jerusalem for indicators.

    Pffft.

A bunch of 'keyboard warriors' typing their 'secret code' on a screen.

The movement organized the voters greater than anything I have ever witnessed before.

  9. There are many extenuating circumstances to consider when dealing with suicidal ideation.

Consider: Anger, Anxiety, Guilt, and Depression all woven together.

Any unresolved or unexpressed emotion can lead to suicidal thoughts. Also, generally in the mix is alcoholism or any substance use disorder.

The ego can attempt to repress the emotions. Counseling and Rx medications can assist with coping mechanisms.

If you are in bondage and have intrusive unwanted thoughts you know it and God knows it too.

Only God through Jesus can wipe the slate clean and create a new life in Christ.

    John 8:36
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed

I think of it this way. The old self died and a new self is born again. It is actually the perfect suicide.

You see, Ron, yours is a story of giving up.

The OP topic was suicide prevention. Giving up is how one gets in that state of mind.

These come to Jesus stories from folks who were down and out, starving, and with no place to go when along comes a a savior, bible in one hand, a subway sandwich in the other and a spare warm dry bed really don't count for much. Now when I hear that Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Lady Gaga decided to toss all of their chips in the collection bowl and give up their comfortable lives I just might be interested.

JoeWeber you will not get interested until you have lost all personal power and self-reliance. Just know that if and when that happens, Jesus is The Way.

More people die from suicide than gun crimes by a factor of three. More people die from suicide than automobile accidents. More people in the military died from suicide than in actual armed conflict. I have know two skydivers who killed themselves. Especially in the USA, there is such an immense stigma against mental health that reaching out for help regarding mental issues will label you as a defect that warrants close monitoring and little trust. We still view mental health as something exclusive to the defective, which is ridiculous as mental health issues are absolutely no different than physical health issues. We view heart disease caused by a lifetime of unhealthy habits as acceptable and normal, but mental challenges as atypical and unusual which is ridiculous as mental health is the one challenge that virtually every human that lives more than a few years will for sure experience.

As someone who suffered chronic depression with suicidal ideation for about eight years I understand the insidiousness of this disease. I came very close to checking out three times but could not carry it through.

On 16 Mar 1981 I was homeless in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, no home, no money, no friends, and no resources for help. I surrendered to the Gospel of God and asked Jesus Christ to come into my life and take control. I was at the end of my rope.

I met and experienced the saving grace of God through Jesus and my life was changed forever.

The Gospel works when you have no self reliance left.

    Philippeans:
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

If you believe you still have power then you do not need Jesus. You will stand on your own. To be saved you have to know in your heart that you are lost.

Thanks but, who among these consider climate control impossible?

Lots of examples to prove that wrong.

John Eccles is a committed Catholic.  Won the Nobel Prize in medicine for his work on neural synapses.

Samuel Morse.  Calvinist who lectured on the Bible.  Invented Morse code.

John Fleming.  Devout Christian.  Invented vacuum tubes, which started the electronic revolution.

Werner Heisenberg.  Lutheran.  Created the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, one of the few physics principles that laymen have heard of.

George Washington Carver.  Protestant Evangelist and Bible class leader.  Made huge advances in agriculture.

Alessandro Volta.  Roman Catholic, said he had never wavered in his faith. Invented the battery.  "Volt" is names after him.

Blaise Pascal. Roman Catholic theologian.  Invented the hydraulic press and the mechanical calculator.

Charles Babbage.  Protestant.  Invented the first mechanical computer.

    Who is contemporary?

No need for anyone to spend their time debunking that video. Rosh does a fine job of it here:

As I was watching the Rosh video a great light bulb came on my brain. The liberal progressive democrats are smarter than we are. We, the Christian conservatives, cannot defeat them. We simply lack the intelligence.

It goes all the way back to the Garden. Eve was created by God and had a direct personal relationship with Him. She was not stupid and she was creative. And yet, Satan intellectually convinced her to disobey God's law not to eat of the tree of good and evil.

Lucifer and his minions are the intelligent force in this world. We are the spiritual force and we know what the final outcome will be.

Rush Limbaugh's demise reminds me of a road trip that I took with Manley Butler. Back in 1993, we drove together all the way from California to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The goal was to sell pilot emergency parachutes at the big Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In.

Manley was an arch-conservative who subscribed to the "Limbaugh Letter", bought cassette tapes of Limbaugh's commentaries and knew when every radio station in the USA broadcast the "Rush LImbaugh Show." I knew almost nothing about Limbaugh at the start of the trip, but a week later had listened my lifetime quota of LImbaugh!

P.S. We sold a record number of parachutes that year at Oshkosh.

I was there that year with the Liberty Parachute Team.

  17. I started listening to Rush August, 1989. He was recommended to me by a former AF MAJ that flew F-4s in Vietnam. I have never seen him as a hate monger. What he was, was a strong conservative from a strong conservative patriotic family. He had a complete and total understanding of the liberal mindset and he played it well.

“We are experiencing record-breaking electric demand due to the extreme cold temperatures that have gripped Texas," said ERCOT President and CEO Bill Magness. "At the same time, we are dealing with higher-than-normal generation outages due to frozen wind turbines and limited natural gas supplies available to generating units.”

Too many worthless windmills and not enough fossil fuel.  End result?  $9000 per megawatt hour.

But but science says global warning is real. This is just a natural anomaly.

Good!  Perhaps that will encourage people to stop wasting it.  There will be more employment on US tight oil fields, more people hired to build fuel efficient cars, and more people replacing their gas guzzlers.  Jobs!
