True enough. The subject and my point was about obtaining a job not a profession. A felon is not prohibited from working for a professional. Don't overlook the fact that a felon's wife could obtain the necessary license if needed. That also works for background checks when legally purchasing firearms. At least, that is what a client told me.

It supports individual mental health. Sinners are usually mentally healthy.

The more I think about this the more amusing it becomes, at least from the conceptual standpoint. Thus, I have to respond, against my better judgment, just to get it off my brain. First, convicted felons can and do own guns. The liberal Democrats have proven that. Second, we are not real sure whether voting is still a viable option. One thing is for certain, The conservatives had better start a campaign to register more like-minded voters and stop hoping that the registered voters show up. And, lastly, finding a job. These individuals will not likely seek employment from someone who would hold their conviction against them. It would be a plus in the South and the Mid-west.

It is good to maintain your positionality in the short term for self efficacy.

Without a doubt, we will "remember this day forever." I don't know what's next but something is coming. We all feel it.

I'm just guessing but, is it because they are more cost effective and efficient during a climate change?

Job opening with the county; Only Christians may apply
RonD1120 replied to ryoder's topic in Speakers Corner
Not all religions are the same. The ad was requesting Christian applicants for the office of chaplain. It was specific not general. It probably should have been worded "Christian" chaplain position open. If I owned a garage and advertised for an auto mechanic I would not be interviewing outboard motor mechanics. Again I state it is only a nuisance lawsuit. I guarantee that if the ad was for a chaplain and only Muslims should apply, no Christian would be suing anybody. -

As an ordained minister of the Gospel of Christ and having served as chaplain in several organizations, I look at it this way. The office of chaplain is for Protestant and Roman Catholics. The Hebrew faith has the office of Rabbi. The Muslim faith has the office Imam. Buddhists have the office of Bhikkhu and so on. IOW, it is a nuisance lawsuit. -
now they say covid cause erectile dysfunction

Actually, it is related to a chronic decrease in utils of satisfaction. -
We are into a 1.5 years of the Covid pandemic with a little over half of the population vaccinated. We don't know what the Indian strain will do. And, now the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. are running out of fuel. Stations in north GA are running out or are out already. Supply trucks are soon to be slowed down or stopped. For most of us up here our specialty physicians are 100 miles away. I understand it is not cool to use the term SHTF any longer. So what do we call this onset? Do any of our resident expert posters in the SC have any idea our long this will last? How long does it take to recover from a major security breach in our infrastructure like this?

No argument here. I am not a fan of organized religion. "No Religion Just Jesus."

sfzombie13: You are arguing with people who advocate thought control as well as behavior control.

Thanks for asking. My wife is still under cardiac care from a stent emplacement last August and has residual bi-lateral pneumonia from Covid last October. She is strong in the Lord and His Holy Spirit and continues to co-manage our church food bank as well as our home.

Thank you. I and my friends are at peace. We are prepared for the very remote worst. We are focusing on communal care. We are at that stage and we are drawing closer together. Our biggest question right now is, how long will they let Biden stay in office before tossing the ball to Kamala?

Only if it takes place in my area of the mountains.

I have personal knowledge dating back to the late '80s regarding Robert Tilton and Benny Hinn. The were/are fraudulent in their ministries. Bad singers do not change the meaning of the song.

No, it has to do with the fact that i have simply lost interest. It is what it is. The last days and all.

I have no idea, no knowledge of the incident.

I have finally learned to see how things really are instead of how they should be. These are evil times with evil people, everywhere, in all facets of society and government.

In my church there is controversy about taking the vaccine. Many have taken it, including my wife and I, but some refuse. Those refusing are not vocal with their reasoning. It comes across as, mostly, the government is not going to tell me what to do. To me that is very weak and not very enlightening. Some of us have had the virus and some of those have died or still suffering long term effects. My wife is in this situation. To date we have had 8,254 infected and 214 deaths. I would guess around 50% of the seniors are vaccinated. Getting an appointment is a stumbling block. Personally, I think it is better to be as safe as possible than to be as sick as possible.

Would the Q movement be more credible if it funded and organized rioting and violence as did Antifa and BLM? Those movements are also sociological groups that influenced the less informed voting public.
