  1. Sad, sad news. I have known Cathy, and her brother Ed, since they first started jumping at Skydive Tampa Bay. She was a truly unique adventure girl. We made a night jump together when she was eight months pregnant with Myriah. This is just so hard to believe.

I’m interested in both. But I’m also a longtime veteran of the space program, and as such I’m quite convinced that we did, in fact, go to the moon. I wasn’t involved then obviously, but I worked with a lot of people who were. And, to a man (all the ones I knew were), they helped put men on the moon, some participating in the real-time support of the computer systems.

Is it true, from the video, that all the Apollo missions data is lost, gone, destroyed?

Thank you Ron. I'm sure that flat Earthers and conspiracy believers can also find sources to back up their beliefs. I believe in faith, I know it is real. But that does not change the facts, only the perceptions. The real truth is that we do not know the facts, but we do know our truths. Objectively analyze and compare.

Like you, I place more value on subjective analyis than on objective. I want to feel something rather than look at something. Consequently, I search for new sources for feelings.

Note, Capain Kirk is going into space and not Spock. He died, because he couldn't find new horizons.

I don't know. Maybe a bible, or a world wide flood, or an archangel appearing in a burning bush, or a prophet who walks on water, or a pregnant virgin. Or any other of a host of fraudulent claims based on faith. The world is full of liars and people who blindly accept lies. You should know. Fakes are everywhere.

    Objectively analyze and compare.

    Here is another good reference.

"The Apollo missions marked the first event where humans traveled through the Van Allen belts, which was one of several radiation hazards known by mission planners.[35] The astronauts had low exposure in the Van Allen belts due to the short period of time spent flying through them. Apollo flight trajectories bypassed the inner belts completely, passing through the thinner areas of the outer belts.[27][36]"

  6. Glenn Beck was discussing this last week. It could affect U.S. 401Ks. He stated their debt at $350B.

I don't understand how a corporation can borrow money to create something no one wants.

It’s not a matter of getting out or not, it is the complete ineptitude of the execution.  Biden ignored the advice of his intel, military and State Department advisers and set an arbitrary date for withdrawal (twice) instead of a conditions based timeline.  Now the Taliban are holding him to the standard he set.  Results? 12 Marines are dead dozens injured, 1000+ Americans are still stuck in country and tens of thousands of our allies have been abandoned to the tender mercies of the Taliban and ISIS-K.

I do not believe that Biden is this incompetent by accident. I believe this was planned as part of the global reset. America must be weakened in the world affairs and the door to Afghanistan was opened for China to move in and begin mining operations.

So the local commanders on the scene decided to say FU to Biden's initial order for our military not to go beyond the airport perimeter. It's called leave no one behind. I applaud the commanders that made that decision! And we still have an unknown number of US citizens stranded behind enemy lines.

    Good news, PTL.

  9. I am just angered, saddened and frustrated. I receive comms from several covert organizations. One that I received yesterday stated that the Taliban are terrorizing the rural villages. The men are being shot and the women and children are given to the troops as prizes. The females are being raped. After twenty years of relative peace, evil has triumphed overnight.

Then maybe you shouldn't be posting in this thread. The world is a little larger than just 'merica.

FWIW; I'm no longer an SA citizen, but my remaining contacts there report the situation is mostly under control again, but will take a fair while to repair and recover the damages.

    Thanks for your update.

When you have to redefine "traitor" so your people do not qualify as traitors - might want to question if you are with the right people.

I just don't know if I should respond to this.

    That's hilarious.

The position of 'your side' 4 years ago was 'You lost. Get over it.'

Somehow it's not super surprising that people who worship the Confederate flag can't accept the idea that Trump lost the election.

I think we have been taught a very important lesson.

So, your side can only stand their own perceived "injustice" before they resort to violence and sedition for about three months.  Yet people of color who have suffered unwritten oppression for a few hundred years are expected to just "wait it out" because "times are changing," without engaging in wholly law-abiding peaceful demonstrations demanding equal rights.

Yeah, sounds about right.  But using your own question then:  how long should they wait?

The position of "my side" is simply: Hallelujah! Maranatha!
