i ment on just a normal jump on a demo i could understand it. would it be like arguing that a bike that peddled into your car should be held responsible? even if you did everything right your still held accountable?

not sure if this is helpful but the same thing happened to my girlfriend who was an avid diver before it happened. at this point she can barily get into a plane without a feeling that she calls "like someone has a tight rope around your chest" that makes it hard to breath. needless to say after that see realized her diving days are done.

this may be a dumb question.. but if you planning on landing in a certain spot and someone walks infront of you at the last minute why are you liable and not them?

When i decided i wanted to start skydiving (going on my first AFF soon) i had no idea where wanted to take it as i only had one friend who'd ever done a jump before. There are about 5 DZs within 90 min of me i pretty much ignored all the advertiseing and read peoples reviews on this site. /shrug i'd hope that others who consider it would do the same and not be tricked my a marketing ploy.

I'm still new here hope you guys don't mind me weighing in on this topic... i watched BFC when it was in theaters and decided to do some reseach on the information in MM's films since i knew that last one he made was so grossly inaccurate that he was disqualified from the oscars. onces again the saying proved true.. there are lies damn lies and statiscis. again there were some creative edited (explained at http://www.hardylaw.net/Truth_About_Bowling.html) but not nearly as much as i his last movies. the movie itself i thought was decent because of its description of hte american media fostering a sense of fear in the culter to drive consumerism. but other than that i found it unconvinceing if you are pro-guncontrol you'll support the message if your not you'll see the slight bluring of hte truths and reject it. either way MM is a jerk for how he treated an very sick charlton heston.

Thanks for all your suggustions! I talked with the instructors over at the Dropzone i'll be going to and they suggested i take the AFF course once i explained that it is something i'd like to continue with and that i've been racing motorcyles for awhile now. Thanks for the suggestion on getting JUMP! i just ordered a copy to give me something to read while i'm waiting to go.
