  1. Any skydiver in Santa Barbara or nearby who would like to share his/her place to a Frenchman who needs a 3 month break from Paris? I don't have to stay here, and could move South. I will share ride to DZ in CA with good facilities (restaurant, bunkhouse, campground). I could also be part on a cross country ride to Florida (DeLand). Blue skies to all of youQuote
  2. As a Franco-American citizen, I would like to get some information about the percentage of Muslim population in France and each other country in Europe and the United States. It's important that the data be taken from an official US state department or other valuable sources. The documents must show the ratio between the % of muslim population vs total population of each country from the past ten years. I would be very grateful if anyone could provide me any help on this subject. Thank you so much.
  3. The USPA New or Renewing Membership Application is asking from now on to provide you security code in order to process the application. I'm very concerned about giving this security code. Is it safe to do so and why do they ask this for? I did contact the USPA headquarter and here below what I got in response: "The CVV code is not required. The industry either requires that all transactions include the CVV code or you have to pay a monthly fine. The trouble (staff time) of notifying all members that we cannot process their request until the code provided outweighs the monthly penalty." My question is if the CVV is not required, why do we have to pay a monthy fine ? (amount? and to whom?).
  4. To prevent people downsizing too fast and get hurt or killed, there is a French rule to be applied according to number of jumps and jumper's weight. He might not be allowed to jump with his own gear if his main canopy is too small relative to his number of jumps and weight. What's your friend weight (not full gear weight) and I can do some calculation and let you know what the minimum size of canopy he will be allowed to jump?
  5. How many jumps does you friend have ? USPA A? B? C? D? Le Luc is the closest DZ to Nice. When is he planning to be over ?
  6. Great website. I didn't know it. Looking to invest in a house. Maybe that's the place to go as I want to get out of France !!!
  7. Where was he coming from and where was he found?(near town or city ?) Any autopsy to find out what lead to his "heart attack"?
  8. Could anybody tell me the circunstances of his death. I knew him and he was always friendly to me.
  9. What tribe was Chief Tecumseh from ?
  10. You know it's a scam, don't you? Just play with him to see how far he goes. Play innocent with him and let us know how it goes... Many scams of all sorts come from Africa. never send any money or provide personal private information. ( address, name, maiden name, account number, etc...) Again, let us know
  11. Did you send your passport ?????? If so, bad news for you !!!!
  12. Your rig might be too big to fit the compartment above your seat. they might take it from you before you ever enter the airplane and put it as a check in. You will get it as soon you leave the plane. The TSA allows rigs on board. Make a copy of the rules and keep it handed in case ... I always take my vector 308 inside a military backpack very tied up as a carry-on and fits just right the small compartment by pushing a little. You'd better check it in as some people have suggested My guess
  13. OK. I will follow your recommendation. Thanks. Would you join me ?
