it is with a sad heart I post that our brother Ganja died Monday October 1st. Details are still sketchy at this point so I wont speculate as to what happend. I will say it was not a skydiving related accident. Ganja leaves a loving wife and two children. Please hold up a tequila shot for our fallen brother. Who is Ganja Rodriguez????

It was nice seeing everyone last night. For those who could not attend, they had Papachulo's skydiving gear on display, skydiving video's playing in the background, a ton of great pictures of our Pimp Daddy and lots of great memories shared. A bunch of us then went to Carolina Wings and toasted many a shot to our fallen brother. I can not imagine that Papachulo would have wanted any other way. FUCK PAPACHULO RODRIGUEZ.

At Skydive Carolina no turn over 90 degrees is allowed in the main landing area. However, they have set up an alternate landing area father down the runway that you can turn any degree you want in and they will drive down and pick you up. As much as I hated to see the restriction be put in place it is nice swooping and not having to worry about 20-30 other canopies in the air with you.

I have so many memories with Papachulo its hard to share. Here's a nice pic with Erin. Never forget your a part of our family girl.

I also jump a katana 107 and shoot video's. I am loving it. I have never heard of too slow openings to stay with tandems? I love the way the canopy opens especially with all that weight on my head. I will back up what was said earlier, its a great canopy if you treat it right. Long spots are not a problem in deep brakes, nice openings if your square in the harness, much lighter riser inputs and a much longer recover arch then the stilletto. Make no mistake, it is an aggressive canopy and you must be on your game at all times but if your experience level is such that you can handle it, its a lot of fun.

You know what's bad about that picture??? EVERYONE has seen Bolas's package enough to know that's not him!!!!!! Oh...and next year...at the beach boogie!! I have zero vacation time this year.

People after several trips to WFFC on my bike with all my gear....DRY BAGS are the way to go. You could throw your gear in a lake and it wont get wet. Shop at an outdoor camping place. They will have them!

Antigua, I completely missed this thread! Good to see you got it up on DZ.com!!! I just read that roaming dz has canceled there mountain boogie for this same weekend due to airport problems. Here's a personal invitation for all of you roaming DZ people to check out chester for this boogie!!!

Games last as well as you play! For me...usually over pretty quickly...for others a full game usually goes a couple hours.

Chris, Make sure you get the video and stills package! It is well worth the money and heck, I might get to jump with ya if its my time in the rotation! Chester is a great place to skydive. Very large and open area with great tandem and AFF instructors. One word of advice....when you get there ask a local who the Rodriguez Brothers are!!!

Happy birthday Kim. Someone make sure the tandem master or videog is a RB brother so they can initiate her into the brotherhood. We need more bumpy brothers with the courage, determination and spirit she has!!! Get well soon and come fly with us.
