Find someone you can casually conversate with... you'll probably learn from them best. It's hard find neutral on your head... but once you do things start working out quickly. Wih sit flying it's 'easy' to find neutral... advanced development can be extremely challenging though! I've been using the beeps for a little while now (optima)... I like to start diving a little over 700 ft. these days, but I don't set the optima at 700. I've got a beep at a grand for set-up support and one a little lower than 700 just in case my dumb-ass decides to throw a little low for some reason. I really can't believe anybody would use the thing as a 'pull now' type device. I dig the optima/neptune technology... let's just try to use it the right way! Chaps Carpe diem

I've got a sony .6, a Kenko pro macro .42, and a diamond .3. I use them all. If my subjects are gonna be moving alot, and I may not be in tune with it... the .6 is kinda 'old faithful' for me. If i'm filming vrw or certain types of jumps where I know what shot I want and what the dive is gonna feel like the .42 is the bomb for a lense! Inside the .3 is a cool lense. The 'dress for success' rule definitely applies. IMHO chaps Carpe diem
