Bought my '96? barely used, and cheap. It looks great (I have simple tastes)-even after multiple bad landings. It is lightweight and comfortable. I did plenty of RW and freefly and I thought I could trust it regardless of the warnings. Sure enough, premature deployment while freeflying at Quincy 2000. Luckily at 3000 ft, not 23000 ft. They said closing loop. Ok, my bad; new (tighter)loop. 2months later, another premature deployment freeflying in Daytona(again 3000 ft!) Coincidence? Do you want to trust it? Maybe the new model is better.
