Hey guys... Its obvious that with a permature reserve at 10.000 or so we land it and no questions, its almost obvious that a permature main at 20.000 we cutaway and open the reserve whenever wanted. The question is very simple and direct.... a permature RESERVE at 20.000 or 25.000. And the point is exactly the time with no O2 we gonna spend on. I dont think cutting the reserve with knife will do, trying to spin to descend is a possible answer but the energy is also important if we dont have O2. First of all, re-phrase your question... You wanna do some video work like filming aff tandems or you just wanna put a camera in your helmet to film whatever is your front even if u jump solo? Putting the question as you have done everybody will assume you asking the first option, and will tell you for sure about 200jumps. But if you want to put a small dv in your helmet and jump with it just to see what you can get, I think ppl will give you a diferent answer. I like someone to explain me why can someone choose to have a non-zero porosity pilot chute to do base. I understand the meaning of a slider for some high jumps in order to slow down the opening of a canopy, but the pilot only slow down the canopy getting out of rig. So that seems stupid to me, if i want to slow down the first fase of opening i just release the pilot a sec. later. This is comon-sense for me, but i know its wrong cause there are ppl using non-zero porosity pilots in base. So what i like to know is the advantage of doing it, and if its not the same as using a zero. one and retarding 1sec the release of it. Lew... do you use that for skydive ?!?!?!? isn't that bigger than an helmet? ;) I think the solution is in www.waycool.com.au given by skyjuggler. Only 7,5mm long and 43mm diametre, a lot diferent from sony ones. I really have no info about lens like this, i will contact them to be sure about pc330 and i will bought one for sure. Thanks a lot. I've bought a PC330, its in my opinion the best vertical camera on a market. I use it for regular outside movies but now i wanna put in air. I found one little problem, the WideAngle Lens sony provide for it are damm big, its something like 10cm diametre. I think its really big for putting on a side mount helmet. Without i think it have no enought angle for filming on a regular freefly jump, maybe enought for filming 4ways. I like to know your opinion about this, anyone jumping with it? whats the efect? do you use the 10cm wideAngle lens? on top or side? Are you talking about the same protection of all Movies Dvd's in the market? The same ones that have copies all around? This pool is totaly out of sense in a country like Portugal, no car is better than a 20yearold student rig, and theres no way skydiving could be more danger than driving. Dont believe? i just say that die more ppl driving every day in this 10Million ppl country than in skydiving all year. Car acidents are first cause of death in pt. Need more? We have, more than 1000 speed tickects per day, and more than 300 for alchool. Our medium speed in highways is 145kms/h and our alchool record is 5gr per litre of blood, i repeat this once again... alchool limit: 0,5gr/l record: 5gr/l (any doctor could explain you, 3 is death for normal ppl) A new fashion is in our streets: riding wrong way on highways, i dont remember anyone falling in wrong direction in skydiving :/ So... if you skydive cause you like to taste the risk... forget skydiving and come driving in Portugal. My advice... Option 1: Change your operating system, 98 if u like games, 2000 if not. Option2: Change the program, try pinnacle ou Sonic foundry software, very good, for me much better than premiere. Ber --------------------------------- "Who Needs Oxygen Anyway?"

An answer from someone who have almost the same question some years ago, Ive sell my subaru cause ive no more money to anything else, subaru costme too much and dont leave any money to other luxury stuff. Now, some years later, i still think i took the right desicion and i will do it again, but i got to tell... the next day i almost cry for selling it and everytime i see a subaru i kick my self, and im pretty sure one day i will buy another. Mine it was not a forester but a Impreza, anyway a subaru its not just a car. My advice is simple, ride it, enjoy it, love it, but sell it before the first $500 maintenance comes. 17,300k on my 9th jump, i find my self repeating the aff7 and looking for alti. just few seconds after leaving the plane, of course the alti shows something like 4000ft(opening altitude). The jump seems never going to end. After that ive made several jumps from 16k to 17,5k, its part of the Govertical boogie in Portugal twice a year, no oxygen and no effects whatsoever, i dont know how high or how long it takes to start felling lack of o2, but never felt anything. Last time... yesterday, 4jumps from 16 to 17, its really great having 70-80s of freefall time per jump Ber --------------------------------- "Who Needs Oxygen Anyway?"
